OK people, I have the correct Null Modem cable..it works, as I have Cloned 2 boxes successfully. I also have stb5.20client and v752 software....problem I have is I cannot get a successful connection between PC and lite box..."connection failed" "incorrect function" "COM port open error" are the messages I get.

If the Cable is working, which it obviously is and you Replay Lite is capable of communicating, which it obviously is because you have cloned to or from it, the only answer is that your pc is the problem. Mine, which has windows xp service pack 2 operating system worked fine. Not sure if it works with windows NT or windows 2000 as com port drivers are not pre installed as standard. Only suggestion I can make is that you try borrow a different pc or laptop.

Hi all I have got to the part of flashing my Replay Lite Box and I am reading the instructions and (I bet this is something simple) but how do I "Write" the information to my box once I have upgraded the software. I have clicked on "Write Factory Data" on the STB Link 5.20 but it looks for a "Factory Data file (text file) where do I find this file to Write it to the Box? Any help please.

Thanks

The machine does this itself. It the period of time between when the PC finishes downloading the 515 blocks to the replay and the light on the Replay starts flashing at an extremely fast rate. Do not power down the box or remove the cables until the light goes from flashing one every second to extremely fast.
