Besides I love Japanese rice. The only way you can "re-create" it is with a cooker. The 5 minute stuff is NOT nearly as good!!!! :P

sammorris,
Quote: Nice price, but EVGA? Hmmm
I've never had problems with their video Cards. Motherboards, yes! If you take a good look at the photos you will see that there is no heat vents inside the case, like many other video cards have, it all exhausts outside the case. It also has the Akimbo cooler. I've only recently seen one of these and it was very well made, and ran quite cool! not too noisy either! Hey, for a final price of $104.99 it would be especially good for anyone that has difficulties cooling their PC, as none of the hot air comes out in the case to contribute to the overall heat!
Best Regards,
Russ

Interesting idea - elevate the standard cooler higher to have a bigger heatsink underneath, but the same plastic surround.

I have a question! Why are we discussing things on a thread that's meant to alert people to good deals? Shouldn't we be discussing on a regular thread somewhere? Just wondering, as I've never seen that on any thread like this one.

RedRob it's NOT the deluxe model if the picture is an indicator. It says P5Q and knowing ASUS like most of us do the "deluxe" would be on the mobo somewhere. :)
NOT a bad price but you can do better for the P5Q. :D

I'd love to pimp my own stuff but that wouldn't be proper. :) And boozer has done so well I'm NOT gonna encourage him... lol. :P

cincyrob,
It is not the P5Q Deluxe. They lie! It's the 8 phase P5Q!
If you have any doubts, I ran the picture through PhotoShop. Compare the two side by side. What you see's is probably what you get! the only difference is the protective cap on the CPU socket!
Here, I made a side by side and I flipped the pic so it's on the same plane as the newegg pic!
http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/4375/mbzk2.jpg
It's cheaper at newegg and comes with free shipping!

pic of ASUS P5Q Deluxe
Rob I see what it says above the "price" box but that is the ONLY place it indicates the DELUXE model. lol. Everywhere else it says P5Q and that's it. /me wishes it was the DELUXE model cause I'd have to ask for forgiveness.... :P

$4.99 Cooler Master 110CFM case fans w/ blue LED. They are basically the same as Silverstone FM121 except they are blue. Good deal?
I got two blue ones for $12.99 a month ago, and now out of nowhere they lowered the price $8...wtf...but it was completely worth it at the time. These things move a hell of a lot of air.
