I wasn't there but looking at it to me, it seems the marks you are seeing are either sandpaper marks or from "scratching" the paint with normal "use". ;) I've seen a few things painted with brush and spray can and that case would have RUNS all over it if it was painted by brush. A quick look didn't reveal anything that resembles a run. ;) My take on it at least. ;)
boozer PM that guy and ask. :P

I asked, it's spray painted.
Also, I didn't notice any marks on the outside of the case. W/E. Just thought I would let oyu guys know.
I probably would never buy it because it's not that great for cooling.

thanks for asking.. now spamuel you hush... hehehe. ;P
boozer the only way i would consider that case is FREE shipping and "water" cooling. lol. It has terrible air flow and one of the worst from CM if you ask me. ;) The stackers and the RC series (590 & 690) have great air flow and I'd have NO PROBLEMS recommending either one to any body. :D

I appreciate the styling of the CM cases, but much like a lot of the cheaper cases out there, it didn't look as good in real life as it did in the review images and CGI shots. Cases like the NZXTs, Lian-Lis and the Antec P182 actually look better in real life.

The RC690 looks pretty nice. The Tempest on the other hand looks badass!
But you said they aren't good for cable management? That's a total deal breaker for me, even since I found out how awesome neat cables look.

this is the reason i have been banging on about the antec 1200, black interior, superb cooling, and the cablemanagement of a god

and the price tag only a god can afford too... As my experiment with the 900 proved, the level of cooling with the 1200 will be completely unnecessary.

Yeah the Antec is wayy too expensive for me to even CONSIDER. I'm a poor guy.
It's not worth having such an expensive case. I would rather save 200 dollars and get a better CPU and video card.

Whoa, I just checked. It's about 205 shipped. That's a pretty decent price for a high end case.
I take it back. I mean people spend a lot of money on those Thermaltake Armors. After I got mine, they were the same price as a Antec 1200 is now.

the thing is if your not boozer, the case will go through many many builds over 2-3 years, before you change up. for £100 IMO its the best case you can get bar the Lian-Li PC-A17

Haha, cases are made of metal. That doesn't wear out that easy. The CM590, 690 or the Tempest wont wear out. You could build 10 different computers and keep on using those cases. What makes the Lian Li better suited for this? They will both last the same amount of time.

Debatable, very debatable. Cheap plastic cases fall to bits.
However, the comment about cases not lasting was directed at you selling them, not that they don't last structurally.

There is a reason I mentioned CM690 and the Tempest. I meant those cases which are good in construction and not that expensive.
Follow along lol.

I've seen them and they're definitely well made, I just wish you could buy one for less than £120+ that is actually cooled properly.
