I had something similar with 8 Below also....
I had managed to rip using DVD Decrypter, but Shink then reported corrupted fles upon importing...
Fix VTS 1.6 created a fixed set of those files, that worked with Shrink OK.

Hi! Everyone! I use DVDShrink version 3.2 I understand this is s FREE software and now there are DVDShrink 2007 shown on the web. IS this an updated version or is it still FREE or needed to pay?
I understand nowadays many DVD movies need to be decripted or Ripping before DVDShrink to operate properly. Can anyone tell me what seems to be the BEST DVD copy software like DVDShrink that is easy and best to solve all the duplicating problem ? Free or pay-softwre...?!
Appreciate for quick response.

DVDShrink 2007 is a scam. Stay away from that. I also found someone selling DVD_Shrink on Ebay which I reported.
99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

As dialysis states that version of Shrink is a scam, the true DVD Shrink is still available and still free. The original Shrink will still do a great many movies on its own, it is only some of the newer protected movies that it has problems with. However, used in conjunction with RipIt4Me you will have no difficulties doing any movies.

Thanks. I found out there is no updated as known for DVD Shrink 2007. Same version wil work fine if you know how.
Also, best way to use DVDShrink is to work with AnyDVD or CloneDVD. However, for the newly released movies, Decripter or Ripping softwares might be necessary before burning DVDs with ShrinkDVD. That's all I can say from where I have found out so far.
I have no problem wit ShrinkDVD now.
God Bless...

I use RipIt4Me and for transcoding use Recode/Clone depending on what I want to do. One thing about Clone is you can preserve the menu if you want. I still use AnyDVD but it is mainly for CD's now. Both programs are great to have though, if one can't the other can.

Arniebear,
Mind telling us why you use AnyDVD for CD's only now ? Why not DVD and what do you use for ripping DVD's before ShrinkDVD or CloneDVD then?
Thank You.

AnyDVD breaks the encryption on CD's, I do a lot of audiobooks. I like RipIt4Me, I like the clean file it produces when used with FixVTS. Before using DVD Decrypter and then other programs I used to use 321 DVDXCopy, which is long gone and when it stopped working I started using Decrypter and Shrink, when Decrypter/Shrink could not do the newer protected movies I used AnyDVD, because I did not want to mess with creating PSL files. Since RipIt4Me came out and it does all the work of creating/importing the PSL files into DVD Decrypter and then incorporates with FixVTS for a clean file I like using it. AnyDVD is great and I do use it with Clone on occasion, but everybody has their preferences.

@hondacity
That sounds like a hardware error. Can you use the drive out side of that program?

An actual log could provide more information about your error..but as it appears your image might be too large to burn. How big is your ISO?

I've been using DVD Shrink 3.2 + AnyDVD 6.1.3 to back up many movies... But once i put in Casino Royal it did not work. So i searched online and found RipIt4Me and decided to try it out but this message came up on my screen when it was trying to rip it to my HD
