its working for me with ie and firefox
with out the http

Step 1.
To begin with, make a new photoshop document, with dimensions of 200x200 and a white background. Create some large thick text, using a font such as Arial Black. Select the Dune Grass brush, setting the size to 36, and then set the foreground to 4E5500 and the background to E9EBCE. Make a new layer and then start to create some dune grass (image b). Drag the brush left and right until you have something like in image c).
Step 2.

Rotate the layer 90 degrees counter clockwise (edit > transform > rotate 90 CW), moving it over the text.
Step 3.
This is the 2nd part of the Photoshop tutorial to create text witha furry texture. Next, duplicate the 1st layer (image a), flip it horizontally (edit > transform > flip horizontal), and move it so that it's slightly overlapping the first layer (image b). Use the eraser to delete the rough edge of the 2nd layer (image c).
Step 4.
Make a another duplicate of the 1st layer and then roate it clockwise, moving it like in image a). Delete the excess, on the left of this layer (image b). Make another copy of the 1st layer and flip it horizontally (edit > transform > flip horizontal), as shown in image c).
Step 5.
Next, rotate it counter clockwise and then place it on the top of the letter. Make a duplicate of this layer, rotate it by 180 degrees and place it like in image b). Use the eraser to delete the rough part (image c).
Step 6.
Finally, just delete the black text that we created at the start, and that's the end of this Photoshop tutorial!

hey greensman, i will pass on the msg. :) yeh...been a while since i hung around here. but i am trying to get back into the swing.
gah...i must be running Internet Explorer v.Retarded. coz it doesnt work for me, even goes to google if i press refresh and i can SEE the link in google, but it wont work.

Coming up with the same thing on my pc too, Page not found blah blah blah......
Anyways, the furry text should be a snap for the Mrs.
@Mrs_B, stop messing about trying to get to tutorials when you already know what your doing and just do the damn sig already:-)

NOW Phlax they may seem yucky to you but they are NOT the same thing. I can have plenty of butter but SALT on the other hand makes me retain water like a pregnant woman. lol. Butter good, salt bad.....mmmmkay!! hehehe. :)

Bubba..its not the furry txt that is baffling me. its the MGS bg. is it Metal Gear Solid? Greensman suggested that, but CK hasnt yet confirmed it. besides......i aint doing a sig within the day after the horrid week i have had. running on 2 1/2 - 3hrs sleep right now. my eyes hurt. a lot.

the sad fact is, 'stang, i've had to get more sources than you'll find holes in an irish man's liver. most of the art is little more than poor amateur sketching, and of the good stuff, 75% is porn, meaning you have to edit out naughty parts (which i've gotten quite good at for my sigs).
just recently i broke down and bought a subscription for sexyfur (worth every penny, by the way). i'll list a few a few artists that do good work, mostly clean, here, and if you'd like more sources of varied content to look through, shoot me a pm and i'll start raping my bookmarks for you.

as for great artists and searching on your own (disclaimer: prepare for art of all orientations), i recommend DCRabbit, Max Blackrabbit, James Hardiman, Jeremy Bernal, James Bruner, Desiree Lee, Dark Natasha, Flinthoof, Fossil, and RomusZ.
