Brian, Novice... superman!
Anybody, quick answer please I was updating and pulled the power before it started blinking quickly, now it wont switch at all.... have I bricked it?

You need to reflash with 7.42a which is available from Brians post on page 132

Just upgraded to new beta software, working perfectly, found codes within seconds.
I went from beta 906 to OSD 910 beta (the new bin file) with no problems at all.

Cheers novice, but it wont connect to the PC anymore the red light just stays on and I get an error message on PC.
I've done loads of these for friends and it's the first time I forgot to wait for it to blink quickly.

lads is that a link on pge 132 for new software for replay lite if i download this is the problem sorted... for now anyway and will it auto roll

Yes it is the software and also the stblink which is the interface used by the pc. It will auto roll until the cable network spends another fortune to change its system again.

Disconnect the repaly and unplug it. Then close the stblink and start afresh. Should sort out the problem if a whole new connection is made.

Novice or Brian! Quick q, iv just uploaded the new software as I did last year and have now just started a re-scan but nout is coming in, have i dont something wrong, do i need to change frequency?
Im doing a scan starting from 370 which is where most the stations for nt hell start from yeah?

I have a replay lite in Dublin when it went down i hit auto search and riped the channels does anybody know the procedure to get them back......Please

i have software 7.52 on my box, can i load 910 straight on to it or do i have to load 906 first

Start freq 290
End Freq 403
Symbol Rate 6887 -(type in if necessary when you see ****)
Constellation....64 QAM
Search by Network......ON
Search
When all channels are found select View
This search should take about 5 mins.

Novice, and anybody else with the same problem.
While waiting on your advice I decided I'd ignore the error message about not being able to connect and try update software anyway. I was shocked when it started loading 7.42 but it worked, so I then loaded 9.10 and that worked too. Happy days are here again!
Thanks for your Novice and everybody else... guess the girlfriend wont be killing me tonight afterall!

Cheers for that novice,much much appreciated, its scanning in now. Can i ask just one more question, who is the genius who comes up with this software? Is it the manaufacturer's? I am abound with curiousity. I wont tell nt clowns, promise.

Codes repeated a couple of times above are old
These are the current codes for N*hell in Ireland 11pm
00= 9C-12-47-0B-E9-6F-9F-7A
01= FE-4F-9C-5F-bF-7D-B0-3D

lads,i have the null modem cable but the laptop doesnt have the connection for same[used to connect it to desktop but its broken]. does anyone know what i need to connect to the laptop[dell]?i think it might be a 9 pin to usb? but im not sure.any help mucho appreciated.
