gman or brian , would either of you know if the cable i referred to on page136 will work with the null modem cable? or can anyone out there do 2 replays for me with the new downloads?can travel to antwhere in dublin.how do you get a pm without showing your e-mail adress?

Flashing box at the moment with 7.42a and after it finishes transferring,the led on the box flashes real fast and im stold to disconnect the null mdem cable from the box and wait until the led goes from red/green to green.Been waiting about 5 mins now and its still flasfing real quickly,any ideas?

Just in case you were planning to pick-up a Null Modem cable (L71BT) from Maplins in Blanch, they're out of stock at the moment and they're not sure when they'll have them - "maybe today, maybe tomorrow"...

Ye have done that,i just installed the 9.10 file on top of that and am currently following th last step,which was,to leave on a premium channel and wait for it to unscramble,any idea how long it takes?Hope it works.

Gman do we know if we can clone from this?
My understanding at this stage is no, but I haven't tried it.
What I do know is that I flashed 8 boxes since last night & done all of them with a straight flash from 7.52 to 910, I did not do the 7,42a first & all are happy.

Hi
Just got in from work, and my replay has scrambled again!! from reading the link about the flash am i right in thinking i only need to download the 910 file and NOT the 742a?
I have done a flash once before and it worked a treat, don't want to damage my box though!!!

It depends on what software you have on your box now and your stance on risktaking.
If its 7.52 you will probably be ok as it seems to have worked for someone a few pages back.
I had 9.06B on mine and didnt want to risk anything going wrong so I saved my favourites, went back to 7.42A and then to 9.10 and then put my favs back on.
Only took about 2mins to unsramble as soon as I turned autoupdate on.
Whole process took about a half hour.
Thanks for all the info lads, were back up and running here! :)

Hi all, have tried these and still 1800 scrambled. I have done this many times and have checked ID prov and all the usual procedures but still scrambled. The only thing I can thing of is its scrambled again N*HELL Dublin.
