man I hated dial up I have dsl its not that much better but man its a hell of a jump from that !lol pictures take all damn day to load up on sites like these . downloadin stinks and if someone calls bam you knocked off I had somethin called catch a call were if someone calls it stays online for one minute but if you dont hang them up lol you get knocked off man that got on my nerves but I do miss aol that is the only thang worthy of dial up

Yo dsl is a lot better then dial-up. You cant even use the phone with dial-up! so just consider that...

Ok, I have 2 24/7 walmarts in my town. I have an exam till 12:30 and than it'll pobably be at least 60 min. b4 I even get to a Walmart after that, so does 1:30-2 on the 16th, sound too late for a midnight release in a town of around 50,000?

I still dont see how Walmart is going to do this. I think its probably gonna be a community line that gets started by who ever starts the line i guess.
At this point i have pretty much given up hope and will wait for the second release. But i will still go to my 24/7 Walmart at 9 pm on the 16th to check it out and see whats going down cuz u never know.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

ok back to this launch thing. I was thinking, if a store is not handing out vouchers can't we just bum rush the electronics dept? What if I got two of my closest friends to go with me, and I showed up & they waited in the car. Then, as soon as the door is about to open, they GTFO of the car, bum rush the door, then kick the living snot out of all the lamers & I hit the electronics dept? I'm a fast guy; i could get there in about 1 minute flat from the store i'm thinking of. In a big city, there is less chance to get one, but if you live in a more rural area the peeps might not have $600$ to spend. There are two stores more rural in this area. As long as i camp overnight, i could be one of the first in line.
I beg you...no I implore you...don't let the filthy Ebayers get all the first run units. They will sell them at 2x or more the $$$ on flEaBAY. Stop those little pricks; make sure you show up on November 17th. With some muscle. And some hustle; cause slow people will not get a first run PS3 if there is no voucher. It's you against everyone else in line.

His answer comes as no surprise, considering Bestbuy's history of console launches and the lack of news that they would be taking preorders last night. To clear up the matter even further, the sales representative assured us that all participating Bestbuy outlets will be opening their doors on November 17 at 8 a.m. An employee will come around giving out PS3 tickets that correlate to the exact amount of PS3s their store holds. When a customer receives a ticket, he/she will be able to go inside the store and purchase a PS3. Does this process sound familiar?
PS3Land apologizes to anyone who had their hopes of getting a PS3 without having to wait in unbearably long lines. The PS3 will be hard to obtain due to the low number of units available on launch day. Good luck to all of those who will be camping out for a system, and happy PS3 hunting.

I wonder how many of the people who put their pre-orders on ebay wont be gettin one this Friday. I know if had bought one off ebay and was told that they didnt get their pre-oder, I would say then give me my money back.

i thought ittl be a case of "buyer beware." you buy something that does not exist more than on word, and you should know the risk. only idiots buy pre-orders off ebay.

i think with the preorders the seller has a window of time say 2 weeks to get you the system...not sure as i decided against selling my preorder. actually i didn't meet all the criteria to be able to sell, so i didn't have much of a choice...
