Yeah but you cant return broken things right? Like I mean if a item was already broken would they except it back because some body could just say it was brocken but they actually broke it.

well say you break a plasma on purpose , you would loose right there 97% sure ... why not just dont break it and return it? of course sometimes things break so in thast case you would have to ask but more likely just try to use the things on the normal wear n tear or just take care of it and return it later.... but again just ask what if the product is broken... i'v never asked cuz i know ill get refund if even item is in working conditinos

Yeah cool. But what if you do break a plasma but say it was already like that that is kind of what im wondering. You would probably be screwed right? Even if it was already broken before you opened it....

what do you guys think of the new laser tvs?
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

yeah... life time I dont think so, I dont belive it. I asked the ppl face to face about the warrenty. ITS A REGULAR STORE, i did buy my LCD TV wich is greate!!!

in general when stores say "lifetime" they mean the life of the product, not your lifetime. so if the average lifetime for a tv is 15 years, then your lifetime warranty is good for 15years not 80 years....

@ Stefan001 and hade yea its "LIFETIME" return policy not for the life of the item im 100% sure , @ xhardc0re i belive sams club belongs to costco @ anubis66 for what i heard its been noting but good news for laser tvs :D i hope its promising.... but @ this point noting beats SED TV @ face123 ohh if its broken out of the box and you call "IDMDIALDy!! then yea cuz you just "recently bought it " i thought you ment LONG term

oh i seen a few times that toys r us may be taking preorders as early as tomorrow or towards the end of the month. its not offical, but for those who are interested i'd call your local store and see what they have to say. could save some from a night out in the cold

why not just order online @costco , insted of waiting , think about it wait = bug console = shittty insted if you get lucky to buy from costco n its a bug one return it re buy it .... you can also pre order from link sang but again i wouldnt buy anywhere else besides costco

Yes Emachine there are Costco's in the US. Their main headquarters is in Washington state.

actually, I have an interesting point to make regarding costco and their policy. So for the past 7 years, I have been buying PC's there and giving them back a couple weeks before the policy expired.
Then, on I think my 4th or 5th one, they gave me a warning not to do that again. I said screw it, and tried to return the next PC I bought.
They wouldn't do it. I talked to the manager and he said so-so that looking at my account he can see that I've been returning old PC's for new ones, and that I'm constantly upgrading. I told him to show me the fine print where it says I can't return a PC after my 6th one.
He didn't show it to me, and still refused to give me back my money,
Finally, I said screw it, I liked my newest PC a lot (HP, media center, 3.2 Ghz, I figure it's pretty powerful).
But I think I could have taken that to court. Wouldn't you?
Sorry for the offtopic thing, but just something I thought I would share with you guys.
Now I have a question about the PS3. If I camp out, and the store opens, and everybody rushes in, where do I go to get the PS3. Are they going ot have sings or what lol. Cause I don't want to stand in line the whole night just to screw myself over because I couldn't find the PS3 inside the store ;(

i've been to one and seen one. one of my favorite stores to roam is value city if anyone has heard of it. they get all the stuff other stores couldnt sell or had returned to them. plus lots of new discounts products. i even got timesplitters 2 there for 15 or 20 bucks brand new in plastic wrap, and its out of print.

no, you couldn't. im pretty sure they have the right to deny you. you could take them to court but if they show you are just trying to rip them off over and over then they will show that too the judge and he'll probably think you are obnoxious and selfish, as deserve nothing. its people like you that will lead to them removing their policy.

@ SovMish : i did state everything except pcs , and yes if you try to do it again and again for "upgrading" then your going to get the plug on you ... and frankly i wouldnt "upgrade" that often cuz we'll loose that offer that costco is doing and yes they know all your activities from your membership card all records @ jtan189 no not nessary i didnt say that the store wouldnt take it back , they will ususaly send you a refurbish one from factory due to the amount of not having enough consoles , as where costco will , since costco gets a s#$^ load they have most of the consoles.... @ emachine theirs costcos everywhere include canada and mexico ,

On the Toys r Us Website, it says Reserve a PS3 at your Local Toys R Us for $50. I called my Toys R Us and they are still waiting to hear from their suplier. What has everyone else heard from their Local Toys R Us???

ok here is what I found I dont know if its tru but this is a heads up for Toysrus Those unlucky souls who missed out on getting their next-gen system pre-orders at Gamestop will have another chance to throw money at a large, multinational corporation this weekend. Toys "R" Us will be taking pre-orders for the PS3 for $50 down starting on Sunday, Oct. 29.
Stores contacted by Joystiq said they didn't know exactly how many pre-orders they would be taking, but a poster on the Gaming-Age forums estimates five up to 14 PS3s per store (take these estimates with an unconfirmed grain of salt). The offer will be well-publicized in the Toys "R" Us "big book" (see pp. 64, 66) due in this weekend's newspapers, so be sure to get to the store early if you want to beat out little Billy's kindly old grandmother and others like her.here the list if people dont belive me
