The manchester derby was quite an upset. if anything, i was expecting the score to be 4-1 to Man Utd :P Well for those of us who were watching the game from a netural point, or biased against Man U, the game was great. Too bad liverpool did there usually thing, and lose.

lol - United will never be finished. Unnited are one of the few clubs that can go out and spend the sort of money Chelsea spent and i can guarantee that more players will want to come to United than to Chelsea. If we offer the right amount, we may have juaquin coming in the summmer as well as Fernando Torres. Those would be two excellent aquisitions for us. But, and its a big But, we need to purchase a top class defender like Puyol from Barca or someone like that (nesta would do lol).
Yeah, we do miss Keane. In fact Man United shouldve bought Makalele when he left Madrid, as he was the obvious replacement for Roy Keane. Ah well, didnt happen. We also should have bough Damien Duff as it was aobvious he was very good and also really wanted to play fo United.
The derby itself i found enjoyable, and even after a major defeat like that, i wasnt overly upset, strange.... Maybe i know what it feels like to support a team that has a tendencie to lose lol.

Yeah, that really does cheer me up a good bit. That would be an excellent signing for United, an obvious replacement for Ryan Giggs when he steps down, though my guess is that if we do sign him, they will interchange between the two of them.
Also, according to that website, Makelele will be offloaded among others:
http://www.sublimefootball.com/article.php?artid=2411
Also:
Quote: Chelsea and Manchester United have been told that if they want to buy Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres they will have to bid £30 million, according to the Sunday Mirror.
United had a £24 million bid rejected for the starlet last week while Chelsea's offer of £18 million fell well short as well.
The £30 million striker will be made available should the Spanish club fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Yeah, not to sure what the Beckham situation is. He is palying very well Real Madrid and is always a starter, so it would be a loss for them. United did of course let him go for too little. I hope we do get Torres, though with Solskjaer and Saha its not as much a problem as our defense. We need a very strong midfielder. Im happy to give Ronaldo a lot fo starts on the right, cuz he is turning into a great player i feel.

lol - doubt that Ferdinand will go to be honest. Chelsea reserves hahaha, just wait for the reply my friend, roll on May....
David Beckham did an exclusive interview with a Spanish paper and stated that he has played the best football of his life in his 6 months at Real Madrid (i agree) and that he will be playing for them next year and will not be returning to England. Again, who really knows lol...

We need a win. Im thinking that Arsenal will draw or get beaten today. Also, Chelsea will only draw with Fulham. UNited will win 3-2.

Yay liverpool took 4th place with a 1-0 win at home, and it only took em 92min's to score, an improvement neither the lest :P Boro 5 - 3 B'ham. That would have been a good game to watch.

Liverpool needed that win.
Chelsea are finding a bit of form here and there. However, i really cant see them knocking Arsenal out of the CL. Arsenal are just far to strong a team at the minute. You should be happy that Chelsea got that far in the CL anyway. Its a new team and a new era for them, they'll be strong contenders next season no doubt as well.
I believe Arsenal will win the match on Wednesday, as will Real Madrid, even though they were beaten 4-2 today by Athletico Bilbao. I feel that Arsenal will be put out by Real Madrid in the next round. Real Madrid have a very poor squad (yet still a relatively good team). Raul scored tonight twice, so that ends his 15 game drought and i think he is going to hit home with fury...

Yeah, im quite excited about Wednesday, it should be a good match - the stakes are upped over the premiership alright. Funny that the word Arsenal was * out on your post.
Houllier is a great manager for Liverpool (atleast from uniteds perspective lol)
