It was lucky - i dont think they deserved it, but thats football. Barcelona back to their loosing ways LOL. 0-1 at home to Valencia who played an excellent defencive game after scoring their only goal. Saviola came on in the 90th minute, but someone of that talent should have either started or come on a lot earlier. Old Frank is not delivering at the Neu Camp.

Anyone know why Denilson (who plays for Real Betis) has changed his shirt number from 16 last season to 11 this season??

Congratulations to Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal.

AC Milan 3-1 Inter

To anybody who has yet to see Shevchenko or Nesta (AC Milan), watch them play a couple of games then revise whatever you think your World Eleven should be. He shares the goalscoring lead with Parma's young prodigy Adriano, at 6 goals in 5 games.

AC Milan scored 3 goals yesterday against a defense that hadn't been beaten all season long. The loosers are the same squad that trampled Arsenal in England 3-0.

By Germany 06' (next world cup), the 21yr old brazilian Kaka will become one of the most coveted playmakers in the world. By then, Zidane, Figo, Rivaldo, Scholes, Keane than the like will be well past their prime (most are going over the top as we speak).

Anyway, anybody got any ideas on who we can expect to make a name for themselves in the next world cup (or in Euro 04') besides Kaka, Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Adriano (Parma)?

If only Darren Fletcher played for a better side cuz scotland are shite. I hope to see Damian Duff standing out for ireland as well as Wayne Rooney playing for England. I think you are right with Ronaldo standing out. oun C.Torres should also be an excellent forward.

Heres hoping Scotland get to the playoffs on saturday. I know we are shite but to get to the playoffs would be excellent. We just need to win and hope the germans get a point against Iceland. I have not seen much of Darren Fletcher. Is he a good player oriphus?

What do you guys make of the Rio Ferdinand issue. My view is he should be banned for failing to take that drugs test. All the other Man U boys took it. Poor excuses from Rio..."I was moving house"..LOL. I do hope England beat the Turks though, I hope all the home nations do well.

Darren Fletcher is a very promising young player. He looks like he is going to fit in very well. He put in a few crosses in his last game and you wouldve sworn it was David Beckham, Ole Gunner Solskjaer or even Cristiano Ronaldo. I have high hopes for him, but i would rather see Ole Gunner playing, then Cristiano Ronaldo and then Fletcher in that order. But his time will come.

In regards to the Rio Ferdiand issue. He was not at the ground when the drugs tests were being taken. He was moving house at the time. He reported he had missed it within 2 hours and was told he couldnt have it done on that day. He has never failed a drugs test in his entire career and the one 36hours later was proved negative too. I honeslty believe that the FA need to take responsibility for the matter and not the player. The players have more important things on their minds than drugs tests no doubt. A mistake can be made. the fact that he reported it within 2 hours and was not allowed to take it then, says a lot for the FA. I hope nothing happens on Monday. Frankly, im glad he is not off to Turkey as its less chance of him getting injured :-D

Well, it ended up being 0-0 in the England match, a good performance by England considering the predicament they were in at the Turkish ground. Now, disappointingly, ireland were beaten 2-0 by the Swiss and are not out fo the competition. Man Utd ace Fletcher came on to score for Scotalnd in their 1-0 win to put them through to the play-offs. Im very disappointed with ireland. They have a better quality side than the scots and are rated higher than them. Its disappointing for them to lose and not go through. We deserve better results than taht. However, the Irish will no doubt say, 'we did well in getting this far'. Thats a load of crap. As Roy Keane always says, its not good enough to say we did well getting this far, people should expect more of their team and maybe the team will deliver more.

Anyway, looking forward to the Champions league against Rangers. That should be a good night. I bought a ticket from my mate for £80 and just sold it for £400 on ebay. He feels stupid now LOL. Im going to try to get a ticket for the Home match against them. Im hopefully going to the blackburn game as well.

My ticket for the Man U game at Ibrox was only £25. Ive not got a ticket for Old Trafford but Im still going down with a few mates. I think the Man City boys will be up for a good swally with the rangers fans that day.

Shame on you oriphus. I dont like ticket touts for the simple reason they stop the true supporters getting to the matches. I noticed that the tickets for Man U at Ibrox were being sold at £500 on ebay.

Im well pleased Scotland got that win. We are are a really shite team but have managed to get to the playoffs. I hope we get Wales from the draw on Monday if not we have no chance of making the Euro Championships. I am however pleased Ireland didnt make it to the playoffs. The reason......every single Rangers player that plays in Ireland gets the nasty treatment from the supporters. I touch of bigotry going on there methinks.

Did you all see the video of the England team and the Turkey team squared up in the tunnel? Interesting.... :-D

Ferdinands verdict will be released today. if he gets any more than a fine there will be outrage.

Right....Now im REALLY PISSED OFF. Fuckin sky knobs are again not showing a Man Utd match. They only shown one live game since the start of the premiership i think. OHHHH I fucked off. I pay my £35 a month for various sports package and i still cant see my fucking football team, and instead there is a shitty 1st Division match on. I can say one thinkg - Fuck You Sky. Im emailing them now with my disguist, then im ringing them up and giving them grief about. GRRRRRRRRRRRR

Well, United won today and when top of the league briefly until Arsnal beat Chelsea 2-1. Ha Ha Ha to the Chelsea fans lol. As i said, id rather see Arsenal winning than Chelsea because although i hate Arsenal, I really hate Chelsea. My granny was also the most devoted Arsenal fan ever until she died. You daren't say a bad word against them in her presence or you would be in her bad books for a long time. She was disabled yet evey Saturday she managed to move and shout about Arsenal. LOL

United won 1-0 a game that should have seen us winning by atleast 3-0. Ronaldo should have gotten a penalty in the first 6 mins, but it wasnt given. Keane scored a header and then Scholes hit the bar with one that should have been easy. Im still happy though. It goes to show you that Arsenal and Man utd are still the two teams to beat. Chelsea...who are Chelsea??

Liverpool yet again lose a game to Portsmouth (a game they were sure to win in their opinions), 3 in a row and their 4th in the first 9 of the season. As i say every week, get rid of that twat Houllier, he isnt a good manager for the premiership. His style would be more suited to the french league. How long do you think players like Owen and Gerrard are going to stay in a team that finish middle of the league and dont qualify for the Champions League. They may not even get into Europe either on their current form.

Manchester City had a good 6-2 win over Charlton today with some cracker goals. Also, Wolves move off the bottom of the table for the first time this season. Go on Incy and Irwin LOL :D

Celtic won today also, winning 5-0 at Hearts.

Real Betis only managed a draw in the Seville derby, but they did come from a goal behind to score two cracker goals within 2 mins 30 secs. Quality play for Denilson to yet again show why he was the worlds most expensive midfileder when he was bought. Its great, two of my teams, Man Utd and Real betis, both have worlds most expensive midfielders playing for them. Keane and Denilson. And River plate won as well. A prett happy result this weekend in the football as far as im concerned. River Plate had some great players that are now in spain. As long as D'Allesandro stays with us we'll be ok.

Im just thinking, i talk to myself quite often in this forum of late. Ah well, i enjoy it. Anyway, its after 4.30am and i have to beup at 8.00am. Off to beddie byes :-D
