There could be lots of things that could help it work on ur ps2.
1. Use high-quality media
2. Burn at around 4x-8x depending on max speed of ur burner and media
3. did you try special boot?

Also one huge thing that I would like to tell all members of Afterdawn is that USE SPECIAL CD MAKERS for writing on your media. I didn't know until recently but using regular Sharpies eventually ruin your disc since the chemical from the Sharpie will corrupt your data. Now I have to buy 100 more DVDs and back up everything I every burned agained. Dang this sucks

hmm I would backing it up with your own media because maybe it would work. Some places are all bootlegs so maybe it looks original but maybe is bootleg and burned on some cheap crappy media.

Well I'm sure that Prince of Persia 2 works with Swap Magic 3.3 (since I have it) so it should also work with SM 3.6. Maybe your friends laser on his ps2 is just better or something. I find that media usually helps with my laser problems so backing it up with my own quality media is what I would try.

Hi, I have a Silver Slimline PS2 and I installed the Magic Keys. It works great with the Swap Magic 3.6.

My question is:

There seems to be a problem with the game copy of Dance Factory (The game for the "dance mattress").

The CD doesn't stop spinning and thus I can't swap and put in a music CD that is essential for the game.

Thanks in advance for the help.

put in a music cd after you load the game? is that what you mean? I'm guessing that if the game is just looking for a music cd you could just open the disc tray and the ps2 won't look for a verification. Also since you have the magic keys the ps2 won't know if the tray is open so you would have to just take out the magic keys when you want it to know you opened it.

No! no... there is a problem with this game as a backup. I have the silver stickers, i can NOT take them out any more, they are permanent. I must have them to use Swap Magic with backup CD's.....

This game i am talking about, DANCE FACTORY, it says: "PUT IN MUSIC CD IN PLAYSTATION". That means, i must take out my game, and put in a music cd in my playstation instead, and thus the game generates moves for the dance mattress with the music CD i put in. Exactly there lies the problem: I can't! The game just doesnt stop spinning when i open the lid of my PS2! I can't take out my game to put in my music CD...........

Dover your game works do a real eject when swaping in the music cd not a swap.

Video games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching on pills, and listening to repetitive music...

007 what do U mean? B clearer.

"Dover your game works do a real eject when swaping in the music cd not a swap....."

a real eject?... not a swap?..... I don't understand what u mean by that.

I put in the swap magic 3.6.... I put in the game, the game loads very nicely, I press Start, the game tells me "good, now put in music CD in PS2", I open my silver slim PS2, the disk spins like crasy, I turn around and bang my head in the wall.... it's that simple

I have a problem with Beyond Good and Evil, it has a big some glitch I tried 2 versions one PAL and another NTSC-US.

There is something wrong with the sound, for example: when Jade hits an enemy makes some noise, then this noise is repeated non-stopping it happens with almost all sounds, anyone with this problem?

I use SwapMagic 3.6, and it's the only game that gives me problems.

Drunk but sober

An update for the TOC list.
Dragonballz: Budokai Tenkaichi 2[NTSC-US] boots fine with Swap Magic 3.6. No problems noted.

merik, when you mention about not using sharpie for marking cd's, I did read an article a long time ago about this issue, it mentioned about not using certain markers with certain chemicals, because it was so long ago I dont remember the specific details, anyway I have been using sharpie for about 7 years now usually I just look at the ones that say e.g. non-toxic and thats pretty much it.

But just because I have not had any problems so far I know it doesnt mean I wont especially after what you mention, maybe I've just been lucky.

But anyway specificly what kind of brands would you recommend, and if these kind of brands can be bought at regular outlets or would you have to get them at specialty stores or sites, thanks.

Tested Terminator 3: The redemption, it works with TOC refreshing and without rebuilding.
I used Swap Magic 3.3 dvd, then ejected, put Mortal Kombat: Deception (4.37 GB) and swapped with T3.
And finally the loading screen disappeared to let the game begin hahahaha!
