Hello,
i am new to modding. i have a flashed 360 and have my backups , but now want to mod my own 360. i have had it re-flashed 4 times and i think i spent more to flash then if i did it myself.
question:
1- what is the best flashing method for the xbox360 (and easiest)
2- what tools do i need and where can i buy them??
3- What is the best (latest) guide to perform a flash mod on a xbox360?
thx for any help you guys an give. i currently have 1.51 flash but now with wave 4 i have issues with games and need to re flash once again!:(

I modded my XBOX 360 about 2 years ago and It's worked great ever since. I'm wondering if the latest round of bans is something I should be worried about. Are they actually detecting device firmware somehow or is it something more clever?

Hey, I just got a new computer and it only has the New PCIe slots.
(x1 slots to be exact)
Is there any PCI Via Chipset that I can buy compatible with these slots?

method for PS2 backwards compatibility (BC) on the PS3 60GB with an actual Emotion Chip.
could the 360 xbox be hacked to use the Emotion Chip? if needed use libraries of code that function four the 360 to read ps2 games like the code on the Emotion Chip.
just asking it look like someone would take the Emotion Chip out of the broken ps3 that has it. an try it. that good at that type of thing.

No, wouldn't work for a large number of technical reasons Im not gonna go in to.
Its like saying, Can I take a MegaDrive games on a SNES?

Textbooks methods are old, slow, and you have a much greater chance of messing up and ruining your Xbox 360.
This site also has tutorials on upgrading your hard drive for a fraction of the cost and tells you how to make backup games. There are also other tutorials on there, like making a Brita filter.
