Hi,
I see from your comment below you suggest this can work with a PCMCIA card. I've read this isn't possible due to booting in doss and drivers, or something like that.
Quote: Q:Is there a PCMCIA SATA Card for the Laptop that will do the same job?
A:Yes,here is a link http://www.topmic.com/wbt-6030v.html
Can you confirm this is indeed possible as I don't have a desktop PC, just a load of laptops. Can you also expand on what type of chipset should be used. E.g. Do I actually have to use this card? I'm happy to do some research but need some clues on where to start.
Thanks in advance.

it will work aslong as you get a PCMCIA Card that is recognized by DOS like the link i posted because it must have the VIA Chipset...
so your best bet is to find one that is like the link i posted or has a Via chipset...

Nice FAQ by the way, but this link takes me to a PCMCIA USB not SATA product. Is the link correct?

What's the situation regarding its online use with backups? No key checks or anything? This is my first look at 360 modding, so I'm sure I'll find my answer, just figured there should be a Q/A for it. Thanks for the FAQ.
