Originally posted by iluvendo: Hi all, after how we always get sidetracked talking about food somewhere here on this site, I decided to start a thread devoted to food, of any type, as long as it is delicious. So as the GM would always say some thing about steaks, here's my entry
Dedicated to the GM, a gourmet of meats
20 oz ribeye steak, first heavy smoked for about 1-2 hours (cold smoke), then grilled over high heat to medium rare. Topped off with melted butter.
Buttered cut corn on the side
Washed down with some good iced tea
sliced pineapple for dessert
first off, clicking the quote link works well. my first post didn't fair so well.
this is awesome. a food thread on a tech forum, how cool is that?
@iluvendo
your initial meal is a little heavy for me. I would do a nice Cali Club and then add the iced tea and fruit. nice idea though.
so far this is neat but some of the stuff you people eat seems strange to me. to each his own i guess
it's just a hobby

You sound like some kind of light weight.
Now, take the Gm, a real man, a heavy hitter. You can do well and learn to be like him !!!

Who or what is iluvendo ? Sounds like a disease.
I haven't posted much, but have been reading quite a lot of threads, and he usually seems nice to me.

The little one that looks like a sheet of paper and is only on your posts is the edit button...
The head is to send a PM to the poster, and the others explain themselves.

To edit a post click on the icon on the top right hand corner of the post.
To post pictures you need to upload them to imageshack, photo bucket etc. and then post a link.
Cheers :)

See that lil check mark in the top corner of your post? Click it and you can edit your postings.
As for the gm, he is not a large man. He is what we call 'normal size'. A man who loves his bbq, and works at being a master of it. Those of us here prefer the good foods in life....meats, bbq....now I gotta find me some breakfast!!

btw the "little buttons" on top of the dialog box when you're writing a post (assuming that's what you're asking about..... man I hate doing that!!) will get what you need. Just hover over them and it'll tell you what it does. LEFT click it and you can go from there. If you need anymore assistance just ask.
welcome to AD!!!!

I too am starting to worry about our buddy iluvendo, we may have to send out a search party!
@ McGreg08
That stuff looks like it would give you heartburn and cause premature death. :D Here is some good wholesome fried chicken, even has some sort of healthy looking stuff in the background wasting a perfectly good gravy bowl.

No need to worry about me friends, I've been in Vegas last couple of days (I was "kidnapped" so to speak). No internet :(
But I'm back !!!
Thanks for all your kind thoughts :)
Found this new buffet off the strip "Buffet at Asia"
Rainbow and Sahara
Just a killer seafood buffet, $15.95, all you can eat and drink included
All the crab, shrimp, oysters, aaaannnnnddd LOBSTER (the big 2-3 lb Maine type, cut up of course, you don't actually get a whole one, boy you should see all the people fight over the tail !)) you can put away !!!
BTW McGreg08, I agree with 1bonehead, you are a light weight !!!
