first thing i would do is not admit i just downloaded a game..anyhoo just unpack one of the rar files into a folder using WinRAR and you'll get your iso..use DVD Decrypter to write the file to disc.

hey everybody

I'm having a bit of trouble again with my games. So far i've burned two games, digimon world 4 and mtx: mototrax, on verbatim with DVD Decrypter at 4x and they both work fine on my ps2 multiple times. However i burned need for speed most wanted using magic iso cd/dvd burner at 2x speed on verbatims, but a different kind of verbatims, the first kind were white allover ones and the second ones were plain silver verbatims. Now the game does work, but only for the 1st time :S. This has also happened with other games i've burned such as mortal kombat shaolin monks and scarface the world is yours. Has anybody had this same problem, or can anybody help me figure what i'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance

i would stick with DVD Decrypter at 4x, why would you change programs after you had success with one, and why would you change burn speed after you had success

the reasoni started using magic iso was because i had a few faileures with DVD Decrypter. However i shall try again.

make sure that while you're burning your game that you're not doing anything else on the computer. when burning a game you're using a lot of ram (doesnt matter how much you have installed) and any glitch or hiccup that your computer decides to do while burning will cause problems with your final burn.. burn @ 4x leave the computer for a few minutes and when it's done you should have a 100% working ps2 backup

it is sounding like your ps2 laser or it could be your source a bad rip or a bad DL, i would say try a game that you know works before and after your rip/burn, rerip it and then reburn it and see it it works

are your burns loading and just not playing or does it say insert a ps2 disc, or does it just never recognize a disc, or does it just freeze after load

Hey liquid88 -

I don't know what's happening if you made 2 good games and the rest won't work..
could be the following:
Bad Burn/Bad Media - check your blank disc's for waves or clouds in the disc even if they're verbatims or taiyo's you might have a bad batch. also i stated that during the burning process you really should'nt have any other program running such as websites that might contain pop-ups, virus scanners, Instant messaging programs..anything that might make your computer hiccup. all it takes it one glitch and your disc will not work. also be sure to burn the verbatims @ 4x. and make sure they're DVD-R's

what kind of mod do you have? some people have trouble with bigger games like scarface and GTA san andreas. the disc will hold 4.7 max...you should never overburn the disc. make sure your games are under 4.6 gig. some Ps2's have trouble reading a backup that's large in size and that's due to the laser. i have 2 Version 7 ps2's one with swap magic and the other with a mod chip..both play games flawlessly.

another thing could be if you downloaded the game. watch where you download. some games are corrupt but they'll still burn. best thing to do is to try your "bad" games on a different modded ps2. if they play then it's the system.. i guess i'm lucky to not have any bad discs and i use DVD Decrypter and verbatim dvd-r's (the silver ones) and have done a lot of games..

let me know the sizes of the digimon and mtx games

check the cd well for any sort of scratches and such. usally when something like this happens to my burned games, i usually have a small unoticeable scratch goin near the middle of the cd i used. if games is downloaded and burned then a file is missing. did u compare to other avaliable downloads?

the original cd is scratched or its ur copy thats scratched? if its the copy then do it again. if its original then you can either burn again or if u have a save point where the game freezes or whatever it does, pop in the original cd and observed the time it takes to load when game is playin and also how hard the system tries to read info(sudden humm noise, disk runnig noise etc) if the later occurs then the prob might be rom the original.

well the first thing you NEED TO DO is read the thread, start on this page and read backwords your very question has been answered countless times, second thing is dont admit to piracy, just state that you have rar files, since you obviously dont own the original game what you are doing is illegal, and this site doesnt support piracy, use some common sense
