Where are you UK or Ireland? and what firmware have you on the box?, but first have you tried Menu 1570 and pressed OK on Set Default Key.

Well that's what has happened then, the Default key has been pressed, so your best bet is to update your box with the lates fix, in the meantime though you can ring one of your mates and get the ***** off him and manually enter, because obviously you have at the moment got the wrong ones in.

You can get the firmware right here, just go into Eamo's FTA Library, and into the Folder marked The Box Super and click into this The Box Super UK Fix 301108 and download this GTRom_Super_8[1].02e_081129.zip and you have got it okay, the link is at the bottom of my post.

thanks for the advice with regard to which box to buy, i think i would prefer to stick with starview, as you say starview 4, is there a starview 4 and a starview 4 with usb or are they the same, also will my flash cable which i have used for starview 1 suffice for this box. reading the forum i believe you still get the same problems with the starview 4 box when the provider changes things and you have to flash ?. also my friends, thanks for the help you people have given me many many times

No, don't get confused as regards the Starview 4, it is referred to as that, but is is the same box and is The Box Super USB this is the Starview 4 okay, and no you do not need a lead to put firmware onto the box, you simply use a USB pendrive to do it, and also you can if you have a large capacitu pendrive, record on to it also, in addition you can have an external HDD connected by USB for recording purposes. There are a couple of help files in Eamo's FTA Library at the bottom of my post, they are in the Folder clearly marked, have a little read before deciding okay and have a look at the box, hope this clears it up for you.

Yep, that is the best solution to that little problem, don't why it's not been mentioned before lol ;), now it's done and dusted, perhaps we can carry on as normal, if there is such a thing ;) regards, take care.

it seems it must be a generic thing as my wife phoned me to let me know that TV not working (meaning the Box). I have SV3 Bx Super in Dub with En Tee Hell.
Any fixes if anyone knows would be apreciated.
