Have you definately got a NULL MODEM lead, what I really mean has it been used before, and also are you using am Adaptor, sorry about the questions but need to know mate.

Okay then can I make it clear that it is the Adaptor that is causing you all the problems, it needs assigning to the corect COMM port, otherwise your box will not be recognised and will return "flash update failed" message all the time. Have you been on dooby's site and read has instructions for assigning the Adaptor?

Just nipped in, can's understand why you are having this problem, if you have the correct NULL MODEM lead, as to you previous question check this out >>>
http://www.freewebs.com/boxsuper/
Now can I suggest thst you delete the GTRom that you have been using, from on your PC and download another from Eamo's FTA Library, and try that.

Check that the Key Emu is turned ON, 1570 into Cas System and turn on, if in UK and you have the latest fix on it will update - if you are in Ireland then you need the latest UK fix which is in Eamo's FTA Library at the bottom of my post this one GTRom_Super_8[1].02e_081129.zip okay.

Thanks vic, of course it helps but I am assuming that the disc that accompanied the USB Adaptor has been used, when you say "converter" exactly what do you mean vic.

Sorry they are using the same ROM change over there as they did in the UK. and you will need to flash your box with the latest UK fix okay.

Go to the link marked Eurovox at the bottom of my post click on that, it is a different box I know, but just to remind you of how to - because it is exactly the same setup procedure okay, and then click on the link marked Starview in the 2nd line and you will find a tutorial okay.
