If you are reluctant to purchase AnyDVD, then perhaps you should consider using DVD Decrypter (freeware program).

you should save yourself the hassle and just purchase the software, instead of trying to steal it, just putting my two cents in the convo.

one stupid question about cracks and keygens concerning dvdxcopy products; if the company that made these products is out of business and IT IS OUT OF BUSINESS, why do so many forums wouldn't allow posts about cracks and keygens? It is not as if the company is going to complain.; there is not company. so what is the problem? let us ride..... i'm just asking.

Are you suggesting that AnyDVD and Nero Ultra are not as good as DVDxCopy or Platinum? How long have you been using Platinum to make such as statement, and have you tried any other software other then DVDxCopy or Platinum to justify it?
Just curious.

bilbo65, thanks for that time saver.
Quote: Some people still like to use MSDOS on their PCs and that's OK as long as they realize they are limiting their capabilities.
I like your analogy, may I use it sometime?
Now this is interesting:
Quote: elizerroj: i have use my dvdxcopy platinum for about four years and it has never failed me,
That?s funny to say 4 years when Platinum came out in September of 2003, so what? that, 1 1/2 years.
Let?s try it again shall we:
DVDxCopy=Spam=Still eatable but not pleasurable and you?ll never ever get an entree again.
DVD Shrink&DVD Decrypter=Steak=Pleasurable with at least unlimited Decrypter entrees.
AnyDVD&Nero Ultra=Filet Minion=Very Pleasurable with unlimited entrees.
But the best part about these is there is No Bull Involved such as 4 years of use for example in the quote above!

sorry ment to say dvdxcopy the original i have both and yes i'm saying that dvdxcopy plat is better than dvdd and shrink, specially in stability. stability= copies not water marks, not jump, work on any dvd, just perfect copies everytime, at least my experince so far i have use shrink and dvdd and i can't say the same abuot them. a few little problems here and there, go check shrink forums, i'm sure u know where, and see the complaints of which i have had some. let's have it clear; dvdd and shrink very good programs specially handling new protection. platinum better program with one problem, can't handle new protections but only because hasn't been updated for company is out of business. But whenever dvdxcopy is able to handle a protection, it is the best. with and without my eye glasses.
just my opinion, what do i know anyway. i can only see what see and experince what i have.

Quote: dvdxpla about six years old since first version.
DVDxCopy platinum came out in September of 2003. The oldest version that was released was DVDxCopy ver 1.0.0 and that came out in late 2002. And just for a bit more information, even burners to burn DVD-R media 1X are less then 4 years old.
elizerroj, want a shovel now?

Let me just say that there is nothing wrong with having an opinion, or stating that opinion here. I only wish that we back up what we say so that anyone else reading our post can put faith in what we say. Actually, DVDxCopy Platinum was a very good program, and I still have it, but I don?t use it any longer since there is no need for it. Newer, better, more up to date programs are out there for us. That?s my point to all this.

If you run AnyDVD in the background, then your DVDXCOPY should be useful to you for a long time.

I am happy for you elizerroj and it of course is you option. :)
Let me try this again.
First DVD-R Burner was 1X and came out in July of 2000 that burned 4.7GB media.
DVDxCopy originated in late 2002.
DVDxCopy Platinum not even available in stores yet, sold online for $150.00 less an instant rebate of $30, and it was version 3.0.0. I still have the receipt available for proof if needed.
First off, I am not an expert; I just have my opinions like the rest of us and also have no problem with anyone expressing theirs. You could have easily said that you just purchased the program a month ago, loved it, thought its better then any other program you tried, and will continue to use it forever, this is of course your choice. But most here on aD would differ with you on that opinion of best, based on trial and error of other programs still available and more up to date. No one has to exaggerate a timeline for an opinion, that?s my only point. :)
I respect you for your opinion, that's what aD is all about. If we all agreed on everything that would be boring to say the least. Good luck to you also! :)
