AnyDVD + Copy to Hard Drive - Any problems?

I'm planning to copy DVDs with all the menus, music, and no compression, to a disk array I have created. Is there any reason I can't just copy the files over from the DVD using AnyDVD?

I may burn some to DL-DVD at some point, but that wasn't the original plan.

Seems to work, just don't know if I'm missing something.

Is ripping software really necessary if you just use AnyDVD and copy the files? I just drag/dropped the files from the DVD to the drive array (Technically, that would be ripping I imagine) and it appears to be working fine.

well that is a different way of doing it, but must say it does work.

If you do ever run into any problems, give DVD Decrypter a try (free).
