Yo first of all blasphemy is when a preist in medieval times declared you of doing something bad and they would say "blasphemy" ! But yeah I know what you mean...

Look at the lines in Japan
On Friday at 8 p.m. in Tokyo, gamers were already lined up to buy the PS3, which wasn?t to go on sale until 7 a.m. the next morning. There were two distinct lines of people who intended to get their hands on a system: one in Ikebukuro in front of Bic Camera in the gadget district Akihabara made up of around 250 people, and one in front of Asobit City Games, consisting of less than 100. (See photo below from Tokyo.)
Japan is expected to get around 80,000 units total on day one, so quantities will be initially tight in Japan, as with the rest of the world. Most major retailers will have 100 to 150 PS3s to sell, while smaller stores will get a paltry two to five units.
Although there is certainly great anticipation for the system, there is a low-key air about the launch. It?s almost as if many Japanese consumers were dissuaded to line up because of the well-known shortages that are anticipated. Nevertheless, the system is likely to sell out in the first hour or so.
Amidst complaints from gamers, some stores in Akihabara have decided to sell the few PS3 through lottery drawings--if chosen by number, customers win the right to buy a console.
As for software, the latest polls from ITmedia indicate that 30 percent of the people who are going to buy a PS3 will go for Ridge Racer 7, 25 percent for Resistance: Fall of Man (a good figure for a country known for being relatively anti-fps) and 24 percent for the new Gundam title. Genji: Days of the Blade recevied only 5 percent of peoples' attention bringing up the tail-end of the poll.
The PS3 is set to launch in North America with around 400,000 units on November 17.

also word seems to be that the Sunday ads for this week all have the ps3 on the front cover(somewhere), those stores that are selling them of course. a scan for a best buy ad said minimum of SIX 20gig models and a min of TWENTY 60gig models. i am not sure if that is per store or for that location the ad was from...
also i guess the online buddy list shows your buddy and what game they are playing...

lol Yo Hade that unpackin is very cool I seen it and really I cant wait till thats me unpackin my new console , but campin mannn they are nuts lol I mean they are gettin talked about campin that earily I got some links about it I will find and I also got some kinda bad news , ok I'm gone this .. If I was campin that soon lmfao I would have a mask on so know one could see my face and how much of a fool I am but check this out I found somethin on that and also the Ps3 is haven problems with the backwards compatibility check it out but it say updates will fix them
maybe gettin a second or third wave Ps3 is best !

But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

i like the mingame feature while installing games.
here is a write up from CNet on the ps3. they gave the ps3 an overall score of 8.8 for the 60gig model.

GameStop. hi this is so and so from gamestop, we just wanted to inform you that your ps3 will be in on friday. you have till saturday to pick it up, will that be a problem, and after that i just chuckled and said i'll be there at 10(there not opening early because of tight payroll...wtf..) anyway yea how cool is that...

@ Cashman , yeah im pretty sure we will see this in america as well its a pretty cool feature Im pretty sure Sony was pushin towards that even though microsoft tryed to beat the too the punch . the Ps3 is gone be able to do alot of things and this is just the start . I can see a brite future very brite they still aint tapped into the tru power of what it will be able to do lol its a monster !
@ Hade, that is amazing ,that is just another proof statement that they havent even begun to tapp into the power of the Ps3 and I was amazed by the killzone shots . overall i was number 4 inline. the first two guys wanted the 20gig version and the guy infront of my and myself opted for the 60gig. when i asked the guy at the store today after he called he said i was number 2. so either they dropped out or like i was saying before, the store made two lists. one is for the 20gig and one is for the 60gig, so regardless i'd be number 2 for the 60gig.

Man, I hope I get one on launch. Also, of course they have barely tapped into the PS3s power. That's what gets me pissed off with people comparing these launch games with new 360 games. Let's take PS2 vs. Xbox when Xbox launched, nothing on the Xbox launched besides Halo looked even remotely as good as Metal Gear Solid 2. It will be the exact same with the PS3, especially since even launch games look better than some games coming out now on 360.

EDIT: just call ebgames and yes I getting one so I was third in line and chance are good if your in that postion or before. I didn't ask how many they were going to get or how many they they were stiff out of but mine only preordered about six so whoever is after 3rd place inline, just let us know if you get one or not.

im analizing everything about the 2 gpus and its all pretty god awful close, but with the cell being able to do many gpu related task (since it was originially intended to be a cpu and gpu hybrid together) it will go past the 360. lair is using the cell for water and other things that can be freed off the gpu for more processing.
oh and...
i played teh ps3 :) it was awesome. details in the distance were almost orgasmic. i was playing motorstorm and i fell off the map 2ce looking out into the distance. i went off the main road to a little road and reemed the side of the cliff in a drop-down and my vehicle erupted in many many pieces, i couldnt believe the realism. i also played nba 2k6, and the people looked amazing, but i spent minutes trying to figure out how to tap the ball in the start of the game. i wish the system would run in 1080 all the time tho, because being so close to the tv you saw the resolution lines. the controller was wonderful, perfect in weight, and the pressure sensitive trigger were like charms. people complained of the triggers slipping, but if you set your middle fingers on the 2's and your index fingers on the 1's is alot nicer. sadly, nothing demo'ed the sixaxis at all. i wished they had warhawk or something..anything. i wish motorstorm used it for something. devs need to use the sixaxis or ittl be the laughing stock of the system in years to come..

@ Face ahh well lol at least one on Ps2 is better I kinda figured it wouldnt do as good because it was rushed and I seen gameplay that kinda worried me with the camera angles
@ Afreak , yeah when the find the sweet spot like a year from now the Ps3 will be a beast and it will road and they might find one each year its out like 5 or 6 years from now those games might make the 1st year games look like Ps2 games lol hopefully
@ Hade , yeah you pretty much have one and I think you are right they might have split both of them up or some people maybe did have all there money lol that would suck
