i bet comments like this don't motivate the wiikey-team at all. be patience. they do what they can. neither you nor me can't do anything about it to make it easier for them or release it earlier.

I agree that this guy in general should be suspect.
1)I have still yet to see confirmation that his programs can actually rip the game in any playable/uploadable form
2)Basic video production misdirection techniques argue that unless the video he posted shows the disk going into a fully viewable opened modded wii, and then tracks the video cords to the unobstructed screen, there could easily have been other hardware/files running to create the illusion
And yes, I am following psxscene as well, and am aware that some users there might have, or are close to finding a way to use his dumper.
To make more progress here though, everyone should share their info source links besides the obvious ones, and anything they find new about the dumper or the uploads

It it functions well, thats a good option I think. Also, once able to upload, if people have the option of posting to either torrent or usenet in their first upload, I hope they know that a single usenet upload would fuel thousands of potential seeders for torrents, versus that single uploader being the only seeder leeched by...10,000 for instance.

on as little side note, the WiiKey team still doesn't have a copy of Super Smash Brawl (probably since its only been 2 days since the issue came up), so there won't be an update until they get a copy to test shit out

psx scene has a new dumper, can anyone here do the test ripping?
And on that note, since its now dual layer, are we still limited to using the noted LG drives, or are we now looking at a new set of drives that people should be using to do the ripping?
I doubt anyone would want to wait that long, but if my drive will read it, I can test the dumper early next week when my hard copy comes.
