hi can anyone in the plymouth area help me with my box it is stuck in radio mode and wont go back to tv .the box boots up then after 10 secs keeps shutting down and wont let me do anything if i reboot just go through same routine and will not work with remote

Hi
I bought a Nokia dbox2 in Debug-Linux neutrino Mode from Germany. Following the 'Beginner's Guide' I successfully flashed 'Sportster 1.7+UK05' and then transferred my Local Area Services Files to dbox2. I plugged off and then on to let it rebooted. Sportster sign flashed and on the screen of the box Skysports channel was displayed. I then scanned the channel and at the end it was quite satisfactory as I found the following result;
TV RADIO DATA TOTAL
235 41 34 = 310
Unfortunately, ignoring or forgetting (as I was so much happy to watch the result)I didn't backup my .xml files after scanning using FTP which is problem for me now. The next day it stuck to a channel and didn't let me change the channel so I switched off the power enabling to reboot it but lost all the channel with a message "ERROR NO CHANNEL FOUND" Go back to Service scan for it. Hence, I several times scanned by following the same instruction but still no result except getting 33or34 transponders then starting from 1/34, 2/34, 3/34.... up-to 34/34 with the same message again.
I am a newbie and very much impressed by 'FEKKER' and Zappp64 so if they or anyone can help me to resolve the problem. Thanks

Hi
I forgot to tell you that I live in Essex-East London Area so I used service file for that Area i.e; London_East_ex_CW_NTL 6952.rar and used CableUK Sym 6952 setting in the scan service Menu. Thanks

hi lovebox...
if you put a services file in the tux/conf/zapit folder..
u wont need to do a scan..this is the purpose of that file.
just FTP the service.xml file for your area...and thats it ..all channels should be there without scanning.

It stands for File Transfer Protocol and allows you to transfer files between your pc and your dbox or another pc.

Hello Every Body i am new comer here I bought the Box Nokia DBox2 couple of months before... Box Were workin fine till now but today.. When i switch on my box then the box says channel not found. i tried to again unplug and plug again same situation. That box got Commando 4.. Does any body know how do i fixed that thing to become see all channels again plz thank u... I know some one there who might help me.. I need help As soon as i can plz thank u

please see page 6 of this thread..there is a brilliant guide..and try to FTP a newer image (commando 6 ).

I cant see any channel now After i press any channel box sayin channel not available.... I dont know how to scan how to do any thing on this and cant take that thing in to shop cause these are illegals to use I dont know Reall what to say n what to do if u guys can help me out i ll be very thank ful to u guys

Go to your SERVICE menu to scan, select BRUTEFORCE, FAST SCAN OFF and scan, may take 20 minutes.

Yes i found some channels 230 I saved them in to my boucket And rebooted my Box and i saw channels But same answer Channels Not Available....

im having the same problem.
trield scanning with 6887(we are on ntl)
no channels available.
going to try and reflash my d box
is commando 7.5 x 2 suitable for a nokia dbox 2 with 2 amd's?

Is that mean now i have to do some thin else celadoor... What do i have to do now.... Ihave got installed cammando 4 innit... How do we install commando 7 in to this box to make it workin n Yes i have got Ntl as well.. And i am in Warrington .. Cheshire

ok...im not the best person to speak to about this...but, i can send the link i have for the ifa flashing program and the commando 7 image
i didnt realise but the image i installed (commando 7.5)#
seems to have a more complicated set up involved.
anyway..ill post the links
the ifa program comes with a guide.
i live in macclesfield by the way
