Whats this about the sky dbox? Ive got sky connection in my room, could I get a box for it? Would I get all sky channels?

does anyone have any info on adding a harddrive to the dbox does this allow you to setup to record can movies be downloaded to it

hard drive...
u need to buy a ide interface to attach to your dbox mobo..

only certain images work good with hard dries too..

i think the NDS is still secure on SKY though(last time i heard)..so i am not sure about premium sky channels.deffo free to air though.
I got freesat atm in my room, by free to air do you mean same as freesat?

Are you sure you have free sat on your box. As I understand it you can only get Sky through a cable box.

are you bit ? sky through satellite thats why its called satellite box ... cable box ... only cable like the new virgin media

Sky ppv channeis through a cable box you know the ones called Sky sports, Sky movies, Sky etc

None scrambled channels are called FreeToAir and you can get only FTA channels via astra 28.2 with a dbox.
Sky via satellite is not cracked.

What do you need?
You cannot get the scrambled sky channels via satellite from your dbox.

u will only get at the moment..free to air channels..using a satt dbox for sky.

Thanks everyone for your replys.
I messed up my dbox, I tried setting up record to pc on my dbox. Alot of my channels stopped working such as trouble, kiss and nick reply but nick, skysports is working. When I say not working there is a black screen and on some channels you can hear the sound but its scrambled and on other channels its just black. I am running a nokia dbox2? Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

I got my nokia dbox2 up and running with commando 6 but does anyone know how to get the teleport channels? Its mainly the teleport replay I want. Cheers

If nobody order in your street there is nothing on the line.
If you can hijack a ppv event ordered from someone in your street you are lucky.

Teleport is the name for VOD (video on demand) in the TW area and if you order a film via your subbed box you can stop rewind replay and so on for a given time.

on remote..
press dbox..
goto extra settings....
change EMU to a different CAM(maybe newcam (this works for me) and let it restart..
same with UCODE..change let it reboot
