i beat ffx, the end is hard. i don't remember what i used , but you need the lead characters final sword for sure and use all the most powerful spells. i think your charactors have have to be at least at a certain level.

the way i think of it as, is what are you using right now to look at this page and type. mostlikely it is windows, who makes windows? microsoft! Microsoft makes the most powerful computers around, do you see people useing a sony computer to go online, NO!. now , who do really think knows what there doing, sony, or microsoft. it does not take a rocket scientist to see that microsoft has been in the buissness. i am not putting down ps3. i just think that ps3 will not match up to ms. you need more then one company or they would corner the market, like a monopoly. and accually ms has allready almost done that. they outsell mac. i grew up on windows, but you know what. it is the most unstable system out there. mac is gay, but less errors. i use windows, but i am rapidly learning how to use linux. you see, unix has been around before windows and linux is like unix. when microsft started makeing computers they were made in mind that they would sit in one place being a selfcontained system. this is why windows is so vunarable to viruses and hacking. they were not made for it. now they force us to buy antivirus and all this other junk just to keep our computers running. linux was built on a network from the start. there is no blue screen of death or viruses. why you ask, because you can see everything that goes on and stop things before they happen. windows based computers do so much without us even knowing it. you think that bringing up task manager lets us know? no! that is just a little taste. ms does not want you to see everything. and they certainly make it hard as hell to copy there new xbox 360 games. there could even be something in windows that does not let you see the xbox 360 games. now if you are good on linux and know what you are doing. it would be easy to copy the disks. every sec there is someone that is makeing new programs with linux. one of those programs might be able to read the 360 disks. oh, that's something else. ms and all the developers get rich off of makeing you buy there programs. linux is free, by the people for the people. why go spend $100 for ms office , when a simalar program is for free by linux. linux allready gave you people a taste. who ever has softmodded xbox has linux on it. it is a gateway to unlock power. power that microsoft dose not want you to have!!!!!!!!!

Dude M$ is devided into two groups. And fairly the sony computers are rather expencive, but they completly beat the ones M$ makes. M$ has the ideas, but sometimes other companies beat them at their own game. For what i know, sony invented lots of stuff.(walkman)(mp3) And got rich with the ps2. 100milion concols wow. I know m$ lost 4.somthing billion $ witht the xbox. The blueray reader is made by SOny M$ and $ony are like arch rivals and sonyy isnt letting M$ using the blueray disks.So the 360's games will have to have many disks. I know gta already has 9gb and thats already one 360 disk.
And by the way M$ doesnt make every computer you see.

M$ may be good with computers, but you cant compair that with consols. Consols and computers are two different things. One is to multy task and the other is for gaming.(speciallized for gaming)
Consols even use different procssors. What computer do you see with a cell processor, or a 3cored processor? Well?

Hmm....not really, im pretty sure that someone already knows how. Just because you dont, doesnt meen taht other people dont. Its just that you can't run a 360 game on a computer.your computer wouldnt be able to handle it. Frankly i don't think anycomputer can. I know mine can only hand 2 ps1 emulators working at the same time, and only one ps2 emulator. Im sure that if a 360 game were to run on a computer, it owuld probably run at 5fps, And you wont get to experience the actual graphics of the game.
Not to mention that sony has blueray disks that hold up to 45gb. Which is the newest disk to the public. And i think it would take years for someone to get an actual iso from it. Some computers wont even have enough space to store a ps3 game lol.
Yo've got to learn the console, before you compair it to somthing young one.lol. Just because its from a rich company doesnt meen its going to be the best.

you have some good pionts. i ain't dissin sony. i have a ps2. i hope the hell they do have a better processor. good. ps2 has like 8 games to xbox's 1 game. i love sony for puttingo out so many rpgs. that is the topic of this fourm. i am not putting down eiter of them. i just like to here eveyone elses opions on it. and accually i did not know that sony make computers. let me ask you this, does sony use windows on there machines. now doesn't that make them one in the same? if they are really competeing then sony would not use windows, right? and i did not know that microsoft had two different departments. i thought the xboxs were make right next door to the computers and stuff. if someone knows how to copy the 360 disks then how come we don't know yet. ussally people can't keep there mouths shut when they know something that big.
oh, where did you find a ps2 emulator at? i looked and all i found were incompete ones that did not work.

Sony makes the computers named Viao. (it hink thats what it's called)
Of cource it uses windows. Only macintosh computers use macantosh as their opperating system.

Yes, bill gates and his team made windows, but I think the competition here is how another computer uses windows. And what Programs can be used on it. Sony probably makes japaneese programs to run on windows like a japaneese version of M$ word.
Take this for example, say ms makes a new computer that is suppose to be the fastest for a period of time, untill like Viao or HP makes a better one. It's the technology of the computer, how fast it runs, and what it will be able to produce. Sure M$ made windows, but did they make a computer that can make it run at supreme speeds?
WEll that's my oppinion, and im not sticking on anyside of computers. I think they're all great. Im not really into the computer tech, im more interested with consols. So i wouldnt know which brand makes the best computers untill i compair them.
Computer brands are emachines, hp, mac, m$,viao, geek and tuns more. The competition is very very very big.

Your second question seems impossable. As you might know that the xbox360 uses an emuator to run xboxgames. t's meerly imposable to run a psx game on a xbox emulator. Just get a ps1 emulator. Can you send the link from that thread? Sounds interesting.

Hmmm going off track a bit. The RPGs by Hironobu Sakaguchi sounded pretty good till I heard their storylines. Pretty basic stuff. Don't know about Ninety Nine Nights but I think it'll be pretty basic for all next gen systems for a few years.

Would have to disagree with you there Jkhmmr. They do sound excellent games all made by excellent people with a good back track record. Not much has been released on the games yet so its a litte hard to discus and compare RPG's on the 360 against those of the PS3.
One thing I can say for sure now is that the 360 posses a much bigger threat to Sony than the Xbox did. There are far more Japanese game developers makeing some awsome sounding games for the 360 than what you had for the Xbox.
With these new RPG's and Japanese developers working for Microsoft I beleive the 360 will be very close to the PS3 in terms of sales and might even surpass the PS3.

I doubt that the 360 will match up to the PS3 for one reason. JAPAN!!!!! You say there are more Japanese developers working with Microsoft but in comparison its nothing. Sony dominates Japan. Microsoft means nothing to the Japanese,especially the 360.

are u joking opening day in japan had a great turnout wayyyyyy better than the x1 the x360 has learned from its moms mistakes and knows how to make friends in japan its gotta look cool has to have killer rpgs and has to have a bunch of japanese developers backing you up and also there is some crazy % of people in japan are impreesed after leaving the lounge the 1st person that got an x360 in japan got it because of the lounge.

I think your right Dr Cool. I think Kookoo is knocked off which is quite funny. Your right with the RPG's. Most people are satisfied with the same game so they know it will be good but when a new game is being made they dont give it a chance even if it is made by Square Enix and lead by the same man who made Final Fantasy. Then you have the awsome trilogy Mass Effect created by those who made Star wars Knights of the old Republic.

instead of being able to explore 7 planets 100 planets and each planet you can explore the whole world with thousands of people. and even online play. doesnt get better than that. if that came out incredibly awesome that could potentially be a ps3 killer/

Yeah Star Wars Nights of the Old Republic will be very good on the 360 but what I was suggesting last time was 'Mass Effect' from the creators of Star Wars nights of the Old Republic which looks out of this world! Have you checked it out?

I think the 360 will have more rpg's than the xbox. But not more than the ps2 or the ps3.
Not to mention that ff7 remake is ogin on the ps3, that was like my favorite game of all time, out of all the ff games. Dont know about ff12 though.
360 sounds like it has some new thrilling rpg's to.
I'm buying both systems anyway so i dont care.

ok let my put a spin on this topic. sony and ms has 2 different styles of rpgs for the most part. sony is like an anime cartoon. you can explore the world but you still have the same mission. the most you can choose is the main charectors name and his clothes, potions and attacks. and you fight beasts. and its kinda shallow game play. like ff, .hack, zenozega, and more. but dont get me wrong i love those games.
ms rpgs, you choose everything. game play is VERY realistic. you can go anywhere and do anything. you can choose the species of your person, clothes, sex, hair, eye color, name, job, etc...... you do certain skills and your attributes are raised and depending on what you do you become evil or good. like marrowwind, elderscrolls, knights of the old republic, fable, and more. ms has the true and full rpgs

The game final fantasy is like the best selling rpg for its fantasy Which m$ games do not have.
It's cool to see spells like firaga and thundaga and ultima. They look cool, and the special effects make it look better. Most people who buy rpg's buy them for fantasy more than realism, which is what makes final fantasy so popular. M$ leaks that ability.
But i'm sure M$ games are bound to get better. fantasy>realism.
And the fact that sony rpg's have VERY intresting, sad and are always on topic storylines ms has as you said

Thats the thing about sony's develepors, they try to u se the full potential of the consol at the begining. Unline the xbox360.
For one thing, i know that people make anime out of ff, not ff makes anime. And the fact that ffVIII is going on the ps3, will completly beat the xbox360, since that was like the greatest ff game of all time!

hey i love ff i love fantasy games. i just wanted to throw out there that rpg is ROLE PLAYING GAME and im comparing that ms puts that element into that game and focuses on you are in the game and you choose your own destiny. but i love ff, and zenoxega great games. im just saying it depends on what you like fantasy or realism.

WEll my oppinion is that more people will perfer fantasy over realism. You like ff games to, so you would know wouldnt you?
Would you rather play an rpg that has an amazing story line? And is more on a fantasy side than a realistic side?
This is why i think that ps3 rpg's will beat xbox360 rpg's?
Would you rather perfer ff?
Or a game that your like training throughout the whole game and is modern? In ff, there games are usually in the past or the future.
