ONE? out of the 200 next-gen games coming out. That's pretty narrow minded.
I have serious issues with the PS3, but there's still admitedly a few games I like the sound of. Mainly, GT:Vision.

yeah, i mean even if you never buy an xbox 360 as i will probably never buy a ps3, but will still look at ps3 games and honestly give my opinion, and right now i woudl say they are looking great, but after watching both press confrences i would have to say xbox 360 games are looking slightly better, for example war hauk is not looking that great graphical wise but mgs4 is outstanding.

I'm gonna keep my 360 because it will be well worth it once Halo3 comes out. Still a long wait though till 2007. But in 2007 they may drop the price on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

You purchased a 360, obviously, but why would you sell it before some of the most anticipated games havn't even been released?
I mean, what compelled you to shell out 300-400 dollars in the first place? I know I don't spend that kind of money unless I'm sure I want it, and I'm sure you're not that irresponsible with money either.
Most of the people who got the 360 early were fans that are committed to Microsoft, so I'm just a little skeptical that you're so eager to switch, especially after so much recent negative Sony PR going around.
But hey, it's your money, and if you want a ps3 than go for it. It should be a good system.

i dont wanna trade in my x360 i just say that when i get mad at a game online. but i will get the ps3 because the x360 has great games, but so does the ps3. i'll just have to work MUCH more hours!

Thats sick you got some PS3 games going to be running @ 1080p & where is 360 they talking about New games they got coming out no New Hardware for there console.If i was a 360 owner i would be really P-off.

What's the fascination with 1080p. Considering the 360 is 720p, does anyone actually think it'll affect anything? The difference will be unnoticeable. Most of you probably don't have HDTV's!!

@ Oedekerk There is a big difference between 720p & 1080p.Here in the U.S. countless people own a HDTV.Thats old news to us.There is not that many TV's on the market yet that can run on 1080p.But im bout to get me a new 52inch LCD TV.

I find it funny that at E3 360 biggest game booth was Halo 3...lol That dont come out til 2007.That looks like Microsoft in panic mode.If i was them i would be pushing Gears of War very hard not Halo 3 that comes out a year from now.Gears of War look awsome.

Yeah microsoft is quaking in there boots lol. That's why they have GTA IV with exclusive content and 160 other next-gen games...
Also, I think anyone dissing microsoft over the difference between 720p and Sony's 1080p, proves that the PS3 has nothing over the 360, that's why they have to resort to an unnoticeable screen resolution. Either that or they are rich kids with 100" HDTV's who don't fit the bill of 'the average gamer' anyway.
Plus, not every 360 owner has fantasies about Halo 3, I don't think it'll be up too much.

@ oedekerk Go back and check your source because GTA IV is not going to be a 360 exclusive.Its going to be for the 360 & PS3 like i said they love porting games.Go to [IMG]WWW.G4.com[img].Its coming out Oct 07.

they first claim footage is real time, then admit its not
go back to the same with their previous console (anyone remember "real time" clamins of running toy story rendered real time?)
claiming the 360 is really xbox 1.5......so what did that make PS2, PS1.1?
sony need to stop moaning and groaning, bring out their system, and give gamers choice
it shouldnt be a war, both systems in 12 months will have awesome games, no doubt. But saying "360 sux" after only 5 months of life, is retarded. Most systems really start picking up after the 6 month "break in" period. Only a small percentage of games are truly outstanding on any system. Time is the considering factor.
the only thing really thats gonna shoot sony in the back, is the ps3 price.
if you have never seen 720p or 1080i on a 53 inch tv, like my pioneer, then take a look, its amazing. 1080p is a way off yet due to expense. Many gamers still use standard tv's (not HD)
as far as the bluray-hd argument, MS did exactly the right thing, because either HD or Blu-ray could end up like betamax. The add therefore is common sense.
Yet again Sony say MS are "behind" for making the add on
someone should say the same to sony, for years PS2 had no hard drive, no online play. They took the ideas from microsoft.
but MS will own online play, its set the standard and built a community.
keep your 360, get a ps3 too if you can afford one
youll have the best of both worlds.

Ok so, Sony has been plugging the PS3 for a year, and the trailers (opps, demos....sort of) we see are pretty much the same
hardly anything new in MGS4
noone with a controller showing us anything
is it in game???

good points djboogie,its all about preference.SOny will have a great product is just a question of is it worth the price.the xbox 360 is a great system and doesnt seem like its two hundered dollars worse than the ps3 but we'll have to see.
