TTown .Yeah I share your feeling's.I like both consoles too.Let's face it this is a pro xbox 360 thread I can deal with that.But there is a 360 forum for those who love ms so much, but instead they come here and argue about how much better the 360 is.
As if I really care who the hell wins.For such a "war" the consumers sure are gettin screwed.More competition should mean better prices but the prices keep going up for the already rich ms and sony.I AM IN THIS FOR MYSELF SCREW MICROSOFT AND SONY.
By the way there are probably pro sony threads on the 360 forum too.So don't take it the wrong way.

Im a big MS fanboy? I wasnt a big fan of the first xbox, i preferred the ps2, but online play was a major changing factor for me, and sony just sucked balls in the online capabilities. And now and days i find alot more games entertaining on the 360 because of online features.
I was only a fanboy of sega >< man how i miss sega :< Now and days i find myself more open to other systems but i will not support a company that keeps lieing to their customers. Rofl only to have fanboys justify those lies

all lies can be justified when it come to anything. always remember, ignorance is bliss. i belive both companies are using that to an advantage.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

I'm speaking of the xbox core system not having a hard drive,wireless,etc.
Just like when you talk about the ps3 dropping features your talking about the $499 system for the most part.If you wan't all the features buy the $599 one.
Before e3 2005 there was much speculation about what 360 would have(tivo,win xp,etc)but many were let down by ms, just as with ps3 and e3 2006.But you can't say either dropped features BEFORE the final product specs were released at e305 and e306 respectfully.
Now if you wan't to talk about after the final product specs were released, then both dropped features with there core systems not having what the primo systems have.

Well i was mainly talking bout the dual hdmi sony said it would have, i dont really care that its not there but i remember so many people talking about what a great feature this will be cause when a friend comes over u can play on 2 tvs. At the time i was like ok when you get 2 hd tvs then come brag about that. I mean it still would have been a cool feature tho.
As for tivo you can use your xbox to link to your Windows Media PC to tivo stuff
The only reason i didnt like what sony did at E3 05 cause they were flaunting it over and over comparing it to 360 specs and now that E3 06 half that stuff isnt even there. You gotta admit they played it dirty to try and over hype at E3 05 just like how ps2 was over hyped to kill dreamcast :x

wooopz : It's true there were a some hardcore sony fanboys who were trying to find a reason to say "the ps3 has more than the 360 has to offer" and they used the dual hdmi as an excuse.But really who needs dual hdmi .Playing on 2 screens is stupid and expensive yeah it would be a cool bonus but not one i'd use.
I remember being a subscriber to xbox mag back in the day.And they were working up the 360 before it's official specs release.Talking everything from dvd burner to tivo to backwards compatibility without reliance on hardrive... on and on.But in the end after e3 2005 I was still happy with ms.And really in my heart I'm pleased with sony too.I admit the 360 is a good deal and available now!But I like ps3 too.

I was speaking of a hardware pvr tivo not software emulated plus many don't have media center xp.Yo I had dreamcast and loved it just like I loved sega master and gen,But let's face it sega killed dreamcast.Sega killed it by making something they could not afford.But man It was great while it lasted.

TTownKlwn - we all know you love your xbox 360 and are wanting to get a ps3, but stop telling xbox 360 owners or fans to stop hating so much, b/c what you do not understand is a few mounths ago when xbox 360 was being launched, every ps3 fanboy was dissing the xbox 360 and saying the ps3 was going to be loads better then the xbox 360, it will have this... it will have that..., now they see the games do not look like killzone 2 and that the best of show award for e3 went to bioshock (360 exclusive) with mass effect in second place another 360 exclusive, so now the xbox 360 fans want to tell the ps3 fans that they were wrong , but that does not mean i will not buy a ps3, b/c i will.

but at least everyone knew that it lacked these things, this is an assumption but i am guesing that when the ps3 launches sony will not make it clear that the core ps3 will not play blue ray at full hd, whcih for most is a reason to buy the ps3.

i am pretty sure that the core ps3 has no hdmi what sover. not just dual.

EXACTLY!!! The differnce between the 360 "dropping feautres" and the ps3 "dropping features" is that with the core system you can build it up to the premium pack if u had two,essentially they are the same system just bundled with different accesoriees.The ps3 is nothing like that,if you get the lower package because ur in a bind on momey at the time you cant uprgrade to have hdmi installed,u cant have the two usb ports added to meet the six they stated and so on and so on.As for people always justifying lies,thats not the case...SONY fans justify being lied to,getting terrible quality from their systems,terrible customer service and son on. Its just funny to see people call out MS on their "BUGS" that they had in the systems that caused some over heating and they talk of it like ps1,ps2 didnt already experience bugs and when ps3 launches it wont have any issues with the hardware.And they beleive everything after being lied to,they think they will easily ship and have more than enough systems to go around and MS are just fools and so on.Its nonsense and funny how STUPID son fans are.SOny fans are treekies without the outfits...

as I have stated they didn't know until e3 2005 just like no one knew about ps3 OFFICIAL SPECS until e3 06.When xbox's own magazine beefs up something and then don't deliver along with many fanboys it's a let down.MS didn't talk about xbox one games not totally being backwards compatible either.

It is cheaper if you don't play online,wanna watch hd movies and don't rip much to the hdd(after all ms is aiming for music,photo's,add on packs,downloadable content,movies,patches,backwards compatibility,and more all on 20gb!!!!)Then yeah it's cheaper but if you do all those thing's there about the same.

well MS are bringing this thig out soon, so when you basically fill your hard drve up, all you have to do is stick this thing into your xbox 360 via usb, then load all of the thing you do not want but also do not want to throw away on to it, then hook that thing up to your pc a walla, upload it all onto your hardrive. so you basically got an endless supply of space.

basically what Ms have done is give you choice to buy the hdd or not, or the wifi, me personally will not buy half the things they sell, so i am saving myself a lot compared to when i buy a ps3, where sony have forced me to buy the blue ray whcih i do not need and the wuifi whcih i do not need, and soo on.

Again I like the 360 but argueing price is stupid because they both are different.To compair thing's that are not the same as if they are and try to price them that way is dumb.That's what I v'e been saying.
all three companies are making profit,all three companies are already rich. So why the hell should I back one and not the other which is what's going on HERE.If this was about price every one would have got the gamecube but it isn't it's about loyalty to compainies that are playing you.And i have no loyalty for any of em.

Didn't say it was popular anywhere, but it is included and not everyone has a pc.Frankly I would rather have windows but we all know why it's not on ps3.And if ps3 sells 8-10 million that will be linux in 8-10 million more homes.

looks like im going to be forced into buying the 60gb one. Which I guess is an advantage. I would have only bought to 20gb console. So I will be stending more but getting alot more.
I need HDMI, the console is usless to me without it.
I think that this will only effect the die hard players, so they could only make money off this move. I would say that most people will just get the 20gb console. Still the 20gb console is sure to be equipt with internet

Nephilim i dont see what was bad bout his post its not like he was directly attacking anyone, and attitude really isnt outlined in the forum rules :/
He was stating his opinion because sony fans keep following these lies that they are in turn stupid. How is that attitude? Did someone actually report this thread or you just thought it was innappropriate?
Anyway ill prob get a warning for this post aswell but ah well :P
i guess this might fall under No insults but if anyone were really insulted by that i think, they take these forums too seriously

I completely understand what ur saying about my attitude and for that i apologize.I just dont get how you graze over people calling me an "ass,fanboy,moron,bitter" and the list goes on.I didnt insult all those who responded to me in those ways so i see it as defending myself.On this page and many others people are bashing Ms fans like me and neutral people.Woopz,rabbity,oedekerk just to name a few have been called fanboys,idiots and so on but you never seem to have a problem with that.I have eeven gone days back in the threads and seen many a person kicked out or suspended and things of that
