why would it be harder on your PC and drive?? ITS NOT!!!

backing the dvd up on the fly your doing the same thing .your ripping/transcoding to a temp.file then burning the file to a dvd. same difference as tranfering the file to the HD then to a dvd. i've backup 1000s of dvds this way with NO problems!!!
