i think there is something more in this guys quote. why would a developer be worried about console competition anyway...i mean don't they make games??? in reality if he was really worried about the ps3 and the price, would it not make more sense for them to pool their resources and develop for one console. basically like everything else this boils down to MONEY. if assassin's creed is the exclussive it has been said to be, then yes the high price of the ps3 may hurt their sales, and of course it would be more beneficial for them to insist sony to lower their prices. say if assassin's creed is not an exclussive, then the increased developmental costs(ps3) they incurr may be damaging. it really doesnt do a company any good if demand for the game is high, but there is little consumer base to fill that demand. basically the more ps3 owners there are, the greater the liklihood for potiental game(ubisoft) buyers.
sony can do fine without some exclusive tittles it has done it in the past and it will doit in the future.
just look at this generation ,games the likes of resident evil, silent hill,GTA,price of persia ect they all have went multi and it still doesnt do nothing to the ps2 and his popularity.

I'm not so sure about that. Sony's exclusive game sales compared to xbox and GCN's exclusive sales are eerily similar to the lead ps2 has/had on the other systems.
the first 360 releases wernt hugely impressive for gameplay but were for graphics and because of all the system's features, it basically sold itself and i think the ps3 will be the same regardless of the titles, as i dont think many ppl buy a console solely because of the games available for it
hell yeah, where did you get those kind of deals? those are decent prts that should be way more than what you say on hdd and video card and case alone.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...
