i will buy a ps3 for $600 totally worth it if people want a ps3 they should stop complaining and buy it cause with bluray they could have decided to sell them for a lot more and i am fine with paying a little xtra for games cause the quality of games will be totally worth it

who cares what the "boss" of ubisoft says?That's just his opinion.He can't make sony do anything.The ps3 will sell out when released.

Okay this come form Ubisoft let me tell you why.Ubisoft has been loseing money for the last three years the only claim to fame they have is Splinter Cell which has lost steam because just about all the games are the same.Tom Clancy was there money maker now the well has run dry & they have no more idea's so they want them to cut cost so they can make money of that dead ass Tom Clancy series.So dont be surprized if they start making game for Microsoft only.

Yep plus EA gobbled up alot of there stock...I think they're going to be fine but it does seem that there games have bombed as of late with exception of graw.
The "boss" of ubisoft aint gonna do jack if sony doesn't lower prices.The truth is they need ps3 because it's gonna be huge and they want to make money off of it.
@damondash Agreed.Me and you both already know what's gonna happen.

PS3 is definitly worth $600 but I dont have $600 to spend on it. Ill get it once the price drops or once blu ray burners become affordable.

i've realised getting a firt gen ps3 is not worth it,your anyway going to have to buy another one in like 2-3 years,becuz first gen ones only come with a single layer reading bluray drive,they have 90nm chips,which when reduced to 65nm,will make the system run better and not heat up as much,becuz like the 360 the ps3 will defianatly have heat problems from day 1 and second of all,the ps3 has a ps2 inside,once an emulator is ready,teh ps3's size is likely to decrease to about half of what it is...so i'd just wait a while before i spend ($1200nz) on a ps3

The only reason xbox 360 will do as well or better than PS3 I predict is the price and halo.

temperature is rising in hurr...tempers a flarin! yeh ubisoft makes good games so dont discredit them and they could be a part of sonys next gen success but it really doesnt matter what the pres of ubisoft says, ubisoft wont affect ps3 in the manner needed to be for him to make a statement like that. Judychick good post though its informative eitehr way regarless of its outcome, if a big game company bashed the 360 publicly ud be sure it be posted and pointed at as if it had relevqnce way to keep it balanced.
sounds kinda contradictory^^^ what i meant is the statement carriew some weight but its not a monumental thing. but this is not good for sony, japanese game developers raped the ps3 in the public now ubisoft and who knows who else will speak out in a negative way

yeah, way befor 360 came out I thought that both 360 and PS3 would cost the same and that 360 would be a complete failure as PS3 is better in all ways but now that 360 is out, PS3 is going to cost almost twice as much. Thats making me rethink how succesfull Sony will be. I could probably get $600 to buy a PS3 but my parents will never let me do so. The computer in my sig cost me less to build than a PS3 will cost.

still the ps3 will have better exclusives they do not need ubisofts help . i am not convinced that the only reason ms will win is simply halo to say that is ignorant

i agree with that statement they've gotta use games like halo,gears of war,saints row,prey,too human,mass effect that are exclusives to help them win. I dont like it when people dont give the otehr games credit and hate it when all they talk about is halo so good point lexZ.if thats the case this is yet another exclusive that sony has lost...i.e gta,smackdown vs raw,assasins creed?,resident evil...all high quality games and big losses for sony

@ dngl but think about all the xclusives they still have, xenosega, final fantasy, resistance fom, tekken, ridge racer, VIRTUA FIGHTER, killzone, rathet and clank, jak and dexter, every adult swim game, grand turismo, getaway, UT007,afrika. just to name a couple. that i am interested in. i think i will buy all these games sometime or another. but like i have said sony is just better for an all around gamer, x360 is shootem, shootem, and shootem

yeah I heard about that assassin's creed exclusivity with ps3 thing a couple weeks ago. Probably a 360 port within a year, possibly as soon as 6 months. I doubt a Wii version would come out.
That poll would've been better if they left out the option of "Wait until there is a price reduction", because now they still don't know how much people would pay for the ps3.
it seemed like a poll to eager to bash the price instead of getting something mildly meaningful out of it.

never heard of xenosega and i thought a final fantasy game was released on the 360 this year. adult swim???hahahahhahahahhahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahaha.afrika i never heard of that but when saying that just because ive never hear d of it doenst mean its a bad game. virtua fighter was past its hayday like 5 years ago, and ign along with most other sites have unreal tourney 07 being released on the 360 as well. but i see what you mean the 360 is a shootem lover system.

I remember Gamepro rumored that Ubisoft was not going to have a launch title like a month ago.Because Assassins Creed was still behind in Development but i paid it no attention but he need to focuz more on his Development crew other than bashing Sony because they pulled the Plug on them.
