The 3gp is easier and converts to other formats.
Pspvideo9 only converts to mp4.

Don't rename, convert to mp4,or is it already at mp4 format??
The MAQ files go to the second folder:
memorystick:\MP_ROOT\101ANV01\MAQ*****.mp4

Vampiro,
Don't say stupid stuff like change to mp4, they're not idiots, instead of acting as if you know a bit, and getting your post count up when most posts could be of no use to anyone, YOU ask questions, or don't reply unless you've got a GOOD ANSWER.
Keepin the Peace.

hi guys, thanks for the quick reply but my psp still can't recognize my video files. i didn't change the name as legend has said. but i'm pretty sure i followed your steps correctly. hmm.. i wonder why...
someone mentioned about pspvideo9 in this thread, so i tried it. and it worked for me. instead of putting it to the 101ANV01 folder the pspvideo9 converter placed it in the MV something folder. and it worked! but i releasized that the method that NG posted decompress the video files more. and there's no way that other people worked except for me ^^
please help me again
thanks again

Hey NGSpec what if when DirectShow is on and it won't encode? Is there any difference (benefits/disadvantages) with it on or off?

I use 3GP converter and I works fine except for some WMVs. Does this one let you convert WMVs to MP4?? Maybe my plugin arent up to date, can some one give me a link to a codec pack or something???

your tutorial rocks, thats what i was looking for, a program to convert from mvk format.
but i'm having some trouble converting my videos to psp, they don't show any subtitles, and if i try to use dshow options, the program always halts on an error.
i wish you could help me a little, thanks in advance.
