Oh yeah that make's sense. Though I bet lot's of people are going to go in a group and just buy a lot of them and then give them to the one person who want's a whole bunch then sell them on ebay.

if those ppl got a 360, then f***it, im gunna camp instead of preorder. i'll just come in the eve. plus, since its a thursday, there will be fewer teens trying the same thing, just adults. thank god for homeschooling.

Yeah you know, my main problem is that, what if the first ps3's brake or something like the first ps2 slim and the first xbox 360's? ITS $600+tax+HDMI cable+game+2 controller=$700-$800 and it braks! My plans 4 now are to wait and play da ps3 at ebgams or wal-mart and see if I like it.

nah, but i bet some retailers will be taking stock home for themselves or kids. i know i would. i'd invite everyone over to a pre-release gaming party.

yeah on ebay. say "will send on release day" as they get it a week or two early.. that would be the greatest. but if they found you i wonder the legal issues you would be trapped in.

Probabaly a lot. Like I saw on the news that some person set out acouple of "harry potter" book's early before release. Then some people bought them. Then every one else was like oh my god they set out harry potter book's ahead of time. And the person got in a lot of sh*t. The point is what Im trying to say is that if some one got in trouble for putting out hary potter books ahead by one day accidentily imagine how much trouble you would get in for selling a PS3 on ebay intentionally!!!! The person would get murdered!!!!!!!!!

hell yeah. especially because of its rarity the end of the aution the price would reach mammoth proportions. you'd see a minimum 3x profit, if not 4x or more.

yeah you should be able to play a ps3 prior to nov 17th. probably around late, late october or early november. i think thats when stores will have demo units.
i am actually thinking that maybe gamestop won't be taking preorders this time around. seems very up in the air atm, which isn't any different than 6 months ago...

im camping for sure if i have the cash at most likely best buy. should i in chicago downtown? or here in madison? because here there is much fewer people, and there there is alot of people.
chicago being a big city, i see it getting alot but with many more trying to get it and more lining up faster. or in the worst case getting asmuch as every best buy and more people wanting them. the one in madison may not get as many, but much more of a chance preorders will take all their stock. someone care to advise?

thats what im betting on. plus people in my town would be ones to preorder. maybe best buy here wont allow preorders or if they do will segrigate 50 systems to campers like they did with the 360.
