EB Games, Gamestop, Toys R US Preorder?????

^^i hear what your saying. i've seen a few people say they would drive a few hours out of the way to get a ps3 from a walmart that is out in the sticks....anyway i am not really a fan of gamestop/eb. there really shouldn't be any problem with them preordering atleast 10 units per store with a disclaimer stating there is no promising people would get a system on the 17th of november. i think the problem boils down to ethics, and store management. if the shop only gets 6 units well the first 6 people are all set, but i think(this is what i also think happend with the 360 launch) is that the employees are not truly honest. i am sure people got bumped down or replaced on the preorder list. i'd imagine friends, family or even the employees themselves were taken care of....

Thats true, I have 3 stores 15min away that should each have a ps3 for me. I live in a small town, so I hoping that noone will know its even coming out lol

Yo microply is a lot cooler then eb games. Just thought I would like to say that...
Anyways wal-mart wont have as much as futureshop or bestbuy and I bet their will be a lot more people at wal-mart...

Oh you might not have heard of it because I think they are only in Canada but It is owned by a much greeder company. But the people their are so nice and the prices and rentals are cheaper then any other place I have been to.

Eb sucks lol I hate them they try to tax the hell out of you because they know they can get them ,I think what they will do is make you buy three games so that adds up plus they have a warranty so thats why they be taxin . I see at least a 900 to 1000 price tag from them ,im roundin it off because they had the 360's here for like 700 dollars amd some change . I know all most 8 but who do you guys think is the best inside conect to Sony , Eb , Best buy, Walmart or Toysrus, Target . im wonderin who would get the most in largest to lowest . lol Target is gone be my gold goose they dont be busy like best buy or toys stores pluss I rather not pay a 900 dollar Eb fee

target seems like a good bet. but i bet they also get less.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

yeah I think target would be the least on the list we should do a vote on most to least , I think they might get maybe 3 or 4 and they dont open till 7am on the nose . @ emachine Eb does have them on launch BUT! they tax like crazy here they would be last resort for me. they had 360's here for like 700 and the other was 800 , I just dont want to deal with them cause I know they are gone tax at least a 1,000 lol but you can get one through them, they be haven some kind of inside connections

I havn't shopped at eb for a long time, because I don't even remember but it pissed me off! Oh I think I either pre-orderd a game or called and asked if they had, so I'm off to the store get there and the guys like no we havn't even got that in yet. I was like wow, go die.

new thread time. go look for it. this talk doesnt fit here much. the new thread will be for dicussing where to camp and why, and what will give you hte best chance at a ps3.

From what i have heard, if the major retailers are gonna preorder you will see it earliest starting the week of the the 22nd.

I hope alot, because if you pre-order and your 1 of the first there its no problemo.
Oh and if you have a pre-order and people are trying to buy ps3's can you be like yo I got the pre-order and jump up to the top of the line?

with the 360 preorders here, they opened at midnight and you had to have your preorder reciept to even get into the doors. so you dont have to wait behind the kid hoping the have one left.
