you should not delete files from the movie folder
you should dummy them at least
if you post me the FULL file list,i can build up a ripped image from there using zero byte files,i just need the rest of the files you missed out from the last image you posted
i also need the pad.txt file

Ok here is what is in the rest of the movie file http://img53.imageshack.us/my.php?image=untitledtv5.jpg and i opened the pad file and there is nothing in there it says its 100 megs but when you open it nothing so i cant post a pic. And what i did in the movie folder is where you have a fmv01 and a fmv01a i just deleted all the ones with a on them im still playing the story mode right now with no problems but i dont know if im missing cut scenes or not but the game itself is playing fine and the story mode started out with a cut scene.

My thinking on the movie thing was when you start your career you can pick it you want to be a male of female so i though there might be 2 movie scenes one for the male and one for the female i dont know though i havent tryed to do the female part of it yet. Just wanted to let you know how my barin was thinking when i did it.

damn,didnt realise the PAD.txt was 100mb
you can view it using isobuster,(right click/sector view)it will just be a series of numbers
if you have any problems because you deleted the pss files, next time, you should just dummy them, leaving them with zero byte, alternatively, there is a default .PSS file you can download and use
but nevermind,at least we know the game works in story mode, when we use the data from the 2nd layer
i am not going to waste a disk trying to rebuild it,without the PAD.txt file,(which you need)

I have used isobuster and iml2iso to rebuild this game and after the loading screen it goes blank. I have read that others have gotten it to work. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I use verbatim media and dvddecrypter.

I don't know about you but I read on a page named (atv off road fury 4) that someone had got it working but they have not said what they did just that they burnt it to a type of cd and used SM 2.0 and it worked fine for them. I have asked them what they did, did they rebuild it or what but they have not replyed.

Ok here is what i did to make this game work, i ripped the iso with DVD Decrypter then opened the iso with Apache 2 and placed all the files form both layer into one folder. Then i used cddvdgen and placed all the files in this order http://img98.imageshack.us/my.php?image=layoutcc6.jpg. Ok then go to the file StreamT then go the the folder CL under it and Del all the files that end in 1. Then go to file H2 and do the same thing. And then go to file LN and do the same thing. Then go to file NA and del all the files that end with the # 1 in them. Then go to file P2 and del files P2PARF01.000, P2PARF2.000, P2PARF3.000. Then go to the movies folder and del all the files that have A in them for example FMV01.PSS and FMV01A.PSS del the one with the A in it. Then go to the music folder and there is a sub folder called regional del all the files in it except for AMER1.VPK. Then go to the file StreamW, it has all the same files that StreamT has in it so del all the same stuff that you del in StreamT. Then just run cddvdgen like you always do and when your done you have a iso that is 4.18 gigs big i left some files in there but im playing it now and it still works on the career mode. I have the big PS2 and use Swap Magic 3.3 and it works fine. I hope this helps

Yes, use DVD Decrypter to extract the entire 7.7GB ISO File.
Then use ULTRAISO (only one I found to work great)to open the 7 GB and compress it to fit on a normal DVD. Note: In UltraISO go to
Options\Configurations\compression and use Normal or Small.
It will give it a isz extention but you can rename it to .ISO and then burn it will any software or simply use the UltraISO put burn the file back.

Step: 1, use DVD Decrypter to extract the entire disc (7.7GB - OK)
Step: 2, Use UltraISO to open the 7GB ISO file you created
Step: 3, GoTO Options\Configurations\Compression
Step: 4, Change the Compression to Normal or Small (I used "Heavy Compression" and the file was under 3GB and everything played well)

Step: 5, In the compression mode the file extension will be .isz which you can simple change the extension to .iso and burn it with any DVD software or use UltraISO to burn it on a disc.

IT'S That simple. It works!

yes, then we can all you infomans method to compress iso images ......NOT
@infoman,i wish it was that simple, however please dont advise people to do things like that, when you have no idea what you are talking about.
ripping DVD-9 is just not a simple case of using ultraiso to compress an image,(thats if it even has that option,(not updated it for a while),and my version hasnt got that tab
ps2 games are not like most other files, there movie files are in pss streams, which need a homebrew app,and sometimes special ripkits to gain access to the files
but i guess you'll just be one of those users who make one post here and say "well,it worked for me"

Man all that work and I heard the game sucks. I have the internet version and I can't even get to the screen where you choose any mode. The game took like 5 minutes just to get to the create profile screen. Stupid game I'm just gonna forget about it.
