Ill make due with my PS2 for now...
Sony has stated that anyonw who wants one can get one by Febuary
year that's cuz my birthday is on february, sony knows am not a person to get pissed of.
the facts are if you want a ps3, ur not gonna get one on ebay, cuz the only people who will get it from ebay a rich people who wouldn't waist there time camping for one.
if u want a ps3 ur gonna have to wait for the next wave, and don't get your hopes up cuz alot of people aren't gonna get one second wave either.
lol ps3 is gonna be hard to get, so people shouldn't be thinking if they go camping out early they will get one cuz the truth is that they probably won't. don't panic though, cuz the sony is losing money on the first few ps3 its sells so the chances are that they will start making the money back and drop the price, then again the oposite could happen. i don't think sony is right to say before february every1 will get a ps3, but before may ever1 should definitely hav one.
It's funny, some (60GB) still hit over $1500 even though there are some that finish $900 w/ free overnight shipping.
I even saw a 20GB that was $650 with no bids when it finished. People don't make sense. Maybe listings with more eye candy go higher???
Another reason could be price boosting via double accounts. The seller might have friends or an extra acocunt and boost up a proxy bid to its max. There are ways to find out how much a proxy bid is.
I think those $10,000 ones on eBay were BS listings where people did this on purpose to boost the sale price of multiple systems they had. This could artificially boost the demand of the PS3 and slightly raise the price in general. Also, it could have just been idiots that did it on purpose to cause problems to the seller. I remember one PS3 was well past $3000 and the seller kept cancelling bids till $2500 and did so until the end.
