This is true because I already saw the systems, but they were being sold YESTERDAY. I think most of the stores got rid of theirs, so you will have a hard time.
Each store got 20 to 25 units and since most of them just sold them the first day, you will not find many. In my area, only 1 store did not sell their stock yesterday, so odds are it is like this everywhere. And the only store was in a rough neighborhood, so I am not in that big a hurry for a PS3. Also, they are made in China, so I do not know if I am even going to get one now.

You can try Circuit City and Target though. They may get 10 per store, but you will have to get past all the Black Friday Maniacs!!!
Black Friday is a day to be feared. People go back to their savage roots and become mindless, rage-filled beasts.
If you don't mind waiting, then wait. You will probably just walk into a store and be like, "wow, there's a PS3. I might as well pick it up while I'm here."

Damnit!!! I was walking into my Fred Meyer as 3 people were walking out with PS3, I ran to the electronic section to see a 4th being sold!
AWW! I almost got one.

damm ive been trying to get hold of my uncle for hours to see if he got me one i need to know do any of use know where i can get a step down comon people
PS3 brilliant ive got a 20gb jap here in the uk to high customs tho £92.90 and the step down was 45 quid oh well its awsome

I called 3 BestBuy's in my area and asked if they knew when they would get more and he said we will have a few in each store for their Sunday ad!!

I think Silver is right. There are risks of them being faulty. Also, I am pretty sure they are sold out. All of the ones you see have the Blue Ray movie, so this is still the initial run. The stores are just teasing you now. They still have some in their inventories, but they will only bring them in small amounts until the next major shipment.

It seems the next delivery for my area is not til the 8th of december. What's it for you guys? It seems for everywhere the next delivery is the 8th.

i just can't belive idoits on e-bay are paying anywhere from 2000.00 to 10.000.00 dollars

I hella want one bad. Im never lucky enough to get a hold of one tho. I gave up trying so ill just wait till i can just walk into any store and buy one with no struggle....like middle of next year maybe.
Ill make due with my PS2 for now...
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)
