The free programs won't work on rented DVD's.

If you BUY it, it will turn into 10,000 BC and your programs will work, except for the expired AnyDVD....

Agreed.

We have absolute no idea how to back up rented DVD's.

However, once you purchase the DVD's the programs linked in my sig, and mentioned in this thread will help you out tremendously.

What if it's referred to as paying membership dues to the Blockbuster Union or the Netflix Neighborhood Association?

I believe that those are still classified as rented DVDs and as stated previously the programs won't work on anything other than purchased media. Nor does anyone here have the knowledge required to process anything other than legally purchased material.

I had no problems when I used RipIt4Me (v1.7.1.0) in combination with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink (don't run AnyDVD in the background). Worked on the first try!

Boy did this thread go off the wall from the original posting problem. Anywho I backup up this flick with DVDFab HD Drvryptor 5.0.3.0.

It strange because this was my first update to DVDFAB since before ANYDVD had a price boo$t. I was almost disappointed that I needed an update. I've been reading prior post to try and help but the version of my DVDFAB was working while others stated that it didn't work.

7thsinger - Can your team sweep the southsiders this weekend???? Should be fun!!!

@7th

DFAB's Site still only has 5.0.3.0 listed as Latest update.
Where did you get 5.0.4.0?

Using DVDFab HD Decrypter 5.0.3.0. I ripped the movie successfully to the HD, but am getting this error when trying to burn the movie to a DVD5. Any suggestions?

This has never happened before now.

@ iluvendo
Thanks.

@ AUDIOMIND
This may not be relevant to your problem at all, but I received this same error once before and it had to do with my firewall. I started the process with CloneDVD and then left my computer to take care of itself. While I was gone my firewall (Comodo) blocked Clone from accessing the files on the HDD during the process. May or may not be the problem.

After a had the movie on my HDD I used Fixvts, shrink and IMG. Mainly because I got caught after the price boo$t for the softwares that you are using.

7thsinger - You did sweep but that was on the northside. This time around you guys will be playing on the southside. One can only assume that the stands will be filled with Cub Fans (as always).

Godd luck, we'll be in World Series hope to see you there!
