Sounds easy enough to me!
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

Please try to rip to HDD with latest Anydvd alone as previously stated.

It means instead of using Anydvd in the background with another program, use it to remove encryption and rip the disc to your Hard Disc Drive.

most likely anydvd and dvdfab decrypter will need an update to do this movie.
or it could be your optical drive unable to transcode the dvd which is highly possible

The link in my signature points out many, many ways to backup current dvds. 7thsinger has the same link in his signature as well.

Damn, everyone has all the luck. The pretty one at Blockbuster last week didn't know what to do for about 20sec, when my bill came to $15.38 and I gave her $21. It finally sunk in, so I complemented her. And she made the correct change. She was a brunette. LOL
