I gave the exact boot process for the DMS3 and instructions to make the backup. If you are still having probs and cant find your answer in the FAQs, then you can make a topic outside this one. Thanks for coming here for your answer before posting, it helps keep the forums uncluttered.

I have me a PS2 flip-top so I didn't have to mod my PS2. All the games I made exact copies of worked and a BETA ver. of Gran Turismo 4. The only problem I have is that some times the 1st time I try booting up a game it'll freeze at some point while loading because the actual disc stop spinning. All the games I have burned and tried playing load slow except Gran Turismo 4. If you can help by telling me how you burn your games (even if you have a modded PS2).

For people that want to mod there PS2 before you do that remember that you have a nice chance of screwin it up and you can't play games on the internet with it.

a flip top is a mod....and yes i have a messiah 2 and i use DVD Decrypter like i have explained in my FAQs and i use various media, it doesn't seem to be a major factor in anything i do, but for the most part either Ritek, Princo or Fuji.

When you use DVD Decrypter do you make like 1 on 1 copies or do you put all the files on to your hd and then burn them on to a DVD?

DVD Decrypter will make 1 file called an iso from your DVD on your HDD. The second thing you need to do is tell DVD Decrypter to burn the iso. The DVD you will end up with will be exactly the same (1:1) copy of the original, except for the boot sector the coarse...

i have seen this Q but no replys
i have a messiah 2 pro installed on my ps2
when i back up a dvd game it says reading disk
and does nothing else
could it be my laser

Hey I thought the ps2 was better but i have heard that in the xbox you could save your games in a hard Drive that you connect to the Xshit and also you can save 2 games on one cd!!!

Where in the hell did u hear that you can burn two full xbox games to one CD? Don't believe everything you hear.

There's no magical way to get 2 full games on one DVD. If it were don't you think that they would be maufactured on CDs instead of DVDs? What they meant was they were stripped to hell. There must ahve been not much of a game left once they were done.

i have a question if your ripping ps2 games from a dvd to a cd and after you have replaced the files now what do i do by the way the game is smackdown hctp size was 4.3 gb now is 559 mbs its pal and i'm booting it with the swap magic v3 cd and i'm not going to get a dvd burner no matter what and i have no idea where to get one aswell

A store would be a good place to start looking... I've never had tio burn to a CD so someone else will have to answer this one. hmmm 559mbs, wonder how much fun the game will be. I bet all the characters will be wire frame.

Chill man, I was just giving you advice since you didnt know where DVD burners were sold. If someone is going to answer you, they will do it just as fast even if I hadn't posted.
PS: searching would be a good way to find your answer. If that fails, how bout making your own topic? really has nothing to do with a FAQ list.

Umm - I think there was some confusion with the order of our posts - "sobhy2406" I was not offering to you to be able to strip my work and claim it to be your own...
I was actually talking to Ender88 (asking if he did not mind my adding my links to his thread - being polite one might say) - I can almost see where you could have become confused... either way - please do not do that sort of thing again...
