More mods to the elite....
I bought some vht niteshades spray (it's a tint spray used to tint head lights/tail lights) and figured i'd tint the plexi window on my elite.
It turned out pitch black
Then when i test fit it i wasn't happy with the lack of light reflecting inside the box.
So i had some 4 inch ccfls laying around from a older project. I took them out of the protective tubes, wrapped them in clear packing tape and used double sided tape to mount them to the underside of the top.
This is how it turned out
I also painted the dvd drive cover white to help reflect the light and ran a switch down to the usb port door on the front panel so it's all nice and hidden.
What you guys think?

Not a 360 mod, but a 360 accessory! All I have done is a paint job, might replace the player indicator LEDs with blue ones, add some LEDs under the fret buttons, and install an alternative button for star power, if I have the spare time.

Got llamma's thumb sticks and black dpad...i think i'm done messing with this controller now.
The sticks were $3.99 and the black dpad was $1.99.
Here's the difference in the sticks

Thanks, i've been trying to find some mod buttons for my controller for a while... now i just have too choose whether to buy a black one or chrome (but the chrome ones don't come with mod buttons).

What is a good web site to buy modding supplys? I have always
wanted to do a case mod but never got around to it.
I'm going to do my own case cut it out add glass but as far as lights

Still have to paint them.
The "R" box will be two-toned, blue fading to silver (subject to change).
The "TLB" box will be a glossy metallic black (subject to change).
The "eebeejay" box will be a glossy metallic blue with silver specs/flakes (definite).
