personally i think you should have painted the fan shroud on yours. looks incomplete with it being white.

Actually wabash, the shroud IS painted. It's a mid-level gray. I let my son paint it (since I gave him the 360). The shroud, memory card doors, controller sync button and front USB door are all gray. He used "chrome" paint to get a "metallic" gray. Hard to tell from the pic & with the blue LEDs on. He did OK though, considering the only thing he's ever painted before was a bicycle.

No. I wanted to, but when I did, the disc rubbed against it. I'm working on a solution, although it really may not b necessary, considering I've seen see-thru "covers" that are nothing more than a bar with the spindle, leaving the entire inside of the drive visible.

Yeah, if you don't mod the firmware you don't have to worry about getting banned....
Anyway did a few more
that's pink .... been modding controllers and rols for people on craigslist for fairly cheap. Also going to install an intensifire kit soon.
Also i just bought the benq/philips xcm drive cover so i'll post pics when that comes in.

I'm No artist but here was part 1....
All the white dots inc the xbox 360 is glow in the Dark looks pretty cool.
Then i decided to get creative oh no........
I should have left well alone lol but still a good attempt at DIY artistry lol

hey i love the modded units :) awesome work and i like the info on the stand off's ty, just a note on the sticky's and stuff, everytime i come accross some point or info that i want to keep i book mark it in my faves. I have an afterdawn folder with tut's and the like in it cus my memory is cr*p....

I still like the air brushed ones on pothsprojets. What's up with that fallout box. Did you use a crayon? I would have thrown that away LOL. You didn't do a good job on taping
