Is there a list of games somewhere that I can look at & it will tell me which games Swap Magic 3.2 wont be able to boot ?

Hey,I Just bought a swap magic kit from http://www.imanidiot.com and it works on my PAL v10 console.It has up till now played all my backups.What a bargain.The only other option I suggest to you guys in the UK who are not happy with swapping,is to go to somewhere like http://www.iwentbyebye.com where you can get a brand new upgraded satin silver ps2 which will save you a fortune in the long run.

i just bought v3.2 for my v9 ps2, but the DVD disk doesn't work at all...
and btw, don't bother buying a slide card (unless you have to in order to get the disks of course), they are very simple to make on your own out of a credit card. just do a search on these forums for how to do it.

Hey I have a version 4 ps2 and its not a open top or w/e, its the slide open like a regular discdrive or dvd drive liek the old ones, the swap magic from http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/p2-smsl look relatively good to me but can someone tell me, will this work on my ps2? I want to know before actually buying it, i ahev a old modchip in it that only supports the cd-r rips liek dvdrips onto a cd. So i was wondering will this work? please tell me

One more question this Swap Magic works on all versions of playstation 2's right? because i have a version 4 and that webstie you gave will work for it right? thought i woud ask before i buy it.

be sure to use -r dvds. you have only about a 50% chance of your ps2 reading +r discs.

Hey,
I have just recieved my new Slim PS2, and it is tiny i have to admit, but the reason i bought it was cuz it had a lid, so i didnt have to take the top of my PS2 (like i had prevously), i live in the UK and i have 2 sets of swap magic v3.0 and they seem to be loading upto the screen where it says insert disc, but then once i insert the copy and try and load it up, it freezes and doesn't do anything, does anyone know a way around this?, and is there anyway of me getting a USA version of swap magic v3.2 and getting it to work on my UK console.

There i ordered the Swap Magic 3.2 and the flip top for my Ver 4 PS2 hopefully it will work good. I'm guesing it should since i've heard it works. I usually use Nero 6 and that is good for ripping ps2 games right? I've been doing this kind of stuff for a while but burning dvd's is a bit new to me right now i jsut want to make sure it is good. Thanks

I am getting the slidecard bootdiscs combo, it says its version 3.0 and my friend tried it I think it was 3.0 he tried. Do I need 3.2?

3.0 is PAL. 3.2 is usa, but it still says 3.0 on the disc.

So you need the flip top cover for the games to work right? Yeah i tryed it without the flip top doesnt work but how can you hook up he fliptop cover i tryed hooking it up according to this site http://www.ultimateconsoleguides.com/Installation.htm ... Didnt fucking work i can;t figuyre it out please someone tell me how or send me a good website showing you how to hook it up thanks

K i havce been fiddling with this flip top cover bullshit i'd say for a while, i got it to work without a fucking flip top but you have to take the top of the case off and put the disc in manual and then so on with swapping. When i have the flip top cover it trys to read it but fails
i have installed it correctly becuase i have looked at numerous sites so i think the flip top cover doesnt work with my ps2 or something

when the fliptop is on, does it read any discs? did you take the white circular piece from your original top and put it in the fliptop?

Yea yea yea i did all the steps it should accordingly to the steps work perfect, but it doesnt it sounds like it is trying to read it but it does not, i am not dumb i do all the steps correctly, i appreciate the help but i dont know if you'll even knwo whats wrong. It jsut doesnt seem to work with the flip top cover on if i go back to the other original it will read discs but not the burnt ones but when i take off the top and leave that other thing on and put the white disc thing on it and put it over the top and put swap maigic in and then take it off when its on and put in a burnt disc its works, but itslike the flip top cover but no flip top cover lol.

if there is no need for a mod chip to used Swap Magic then all i need to do is buy that then just use dvd decryptor burn the iso file and im set or is there a missing link i need..... i have clone dvd which is crap i mainly use DVD Shrink what would my best option be i wanna start backing up games and am trying to do it right without breakin my system
