Maybe a new thread for a new problem? But don't spam in other posts about your problem, just restrain yourself to posting in your own forums ;)

yup thats np's, hence why i said im not going to add my comment ;) so chill mate,
thing is, with you saying maybe a new thread for each problem, the ammount of ppl who would just go ahead and post a new thread before doing a couple of hours research will be too many, thread after thread of the same thing! its like in this thread, people have just come in and posted their problem before waiting for another persons to be sorted or viewed and hence the thread gets clogged up...

But you see, that's why I have been urging some moderators to do some "Internet Spring Cleaning" if you get my drift :)

2meg dsl connection, download speeds of 50.

Upload at its max (its set at 10 kB below my actual max, ie 256 upload, so its limited to 30-35kB).

Using AZ, green lights across the board.

Any ideas anyone (note:it's at a pathetic 18.7kB as we speak, and I'm running 3 dl to see if it'll go any higher)

I agree with Toilet man all the way azereus is the best way to go with BT i know this because i know the person whom wrote the program so i know its very reliable and its the only BT client that i've seen that supports an Ip Filter. Also when it comes to slow Dl speeds i recommend setting a port range if ur on a router but dont use the default port 6881 as this will get u in trouble, instead try port 49152.as for firewalls dont use the ones made by nortons or macafee as these generally block connections using BT

Another thing about azereus is to remember that it slowly connects new peers and searches for the fastest one so in other words ur dl may seem etremely slow at first but as it progresses it will and i stand by this , it will become faster i've never had trouble using AZ as i have had some trouble with other clients such as torrent storm and Tornado so to anyone using AZ just hang in there you will catch on AZ isnt that hard to figure out (I'm no internet wiz myself) another thing to mention is that some tracker sites are blacklisting some ports so as i mentioned earlier change the port range since 6881 - 6889 have been caught on too by some ISPs and other organizations if u do use these ports however be warned that ur being watched by someone, if u do decide to change the range come up with sumthin just as i did and try it out and see what results u get, if dosent work try a different range you will eventually find one that works probably one thats even better that the default range. And this is to dela Dont qoute me on this as u have in previous forums since this one where i really know what im talkin about but u probably will and have everyone follow what "the guide says or instructions say" but seriously i follow p2p closely and i know about alot of the changes and what is best to stay safe, another good thing to add here is importing a blocklist into a firewall such as zone alarm pro just goto methlabs and check out the forums on how to do this it really isnt that hard and with a little practice u can turn ur ordinary FW into a super firewall which can trust me block just about any connection from whatever organization or fbi for that matter.

FartDude, you make good points and state out the advantages of the Azureus client... but, do you remember a thing called fullstops and capital letters? Just a tease, mind =P
