to downgrade everything from 1.51 to 3.50 there are downgraders requiring unpatched Lumines (Unpatched has 3.50 firmare update, patched have 3.51
There are no downgraders for 3.51 and above...well, not yet.
Im aware of all this thx

I was just thinking that in the future for someone who is stuck on 3.11 and cannot find unpatched Lumines what options would they have if they wanted to downgrade fw.
Sorry if Im being a pain with all these questions but im just curious.

oh ok well someone here told me that to find out if the GTA is unpatched. Well now i know how to figure out if it is patched or unpatched, it has to mach the firmware you already have and is able to downgrade.

If someone wanted to make a downgrader, they will not make one for 3.11, they will try to make one with a higher firmware, for example 3.60. Everyone with 3.11 could update to 3.60 n downgrade from there. But if they do run into a exploit that could only run on 3.11 i dont see y they wont release it. Making downgraders take time, take time to find a exploit (security hole) , then see if it could launch a application through it.

No, I said If they want to make a downgrader they will not try to make a 3.11 downgrader, but they will try to make a 3.60 downgrader. also 3.60 isnt even out yet!

Hi.. Thanks in advanced!!
Im a new psp owner.. Just bought it last month..
It's silver, japan, 3.03 oe-c already when I bought it..

Everything works fine, THEN, I dwnlded to "tales of the world:radiant mythology", but it wont start..

I was wondering if I could play this game using 3.40 oe-a.. I really want to play this..

And the thing is, IM REALLY CLUELESS about manual upgrading to 3.40 oe-a and afraid to make my psp brick by doing something stupid.. But I'd rather do it manually than paying someone to do it coz im quite broke right now..

Can anyone teach me how?

Please Help me..

New PSP Owner
(+[__]%) 3.03 OE-C>3.51 M33-6>3.52M33-4>3.71M33-2
Thanks to the very nice people in here that helps
newbies like me especially sicdude..
You ROCK!!
Thanks again!! ^_^

Before upgrading to 3.40 OE-A, is the game that you downloaded an ISO or CSO? Coz if not, that might be the problem.

Or try the new 3.52 M33... You can play ISO's without UMD's in the drive and you can play PSX direct to.

All 3.40 OE themes work for 3.52 M33, BUT you have to make sure first because it kept freezing on me, glitching up and there are some things that dont work, Soo you migt be going back and forth from recovery to home quite a bit to get it how you want it.

Thanks a lot man. I'm still pretty scared to go to the M33 CFW. I downloaded the file already but i dont know if I'm going to use it. Did you use the 3.51 M33? Is it stable?

Ok. I'll give it a thought and I'll probably try this during the weekend. It says in the intructions
"Download official 3.52 eboot, rename it to 352.PBP and place it on "ms0:/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/" or "ms0:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/"
Where can I get this? Coz I was searching on google but cant find it. So I really put official sony eboot here?

Yeah put both in there go start up M33 CREATOR. and when it is done(take about 6 minutes) press x to exit and the nyou go to M33 Update. And after that if you have a Custom XMB you will now be at a normal XMB with a new M33 CFW!!!!
