Your not ripping off the originals but off backups of the movies?

I ripped both of these movies with Decrypter, no problem. Could you post the entire Decrypter log?

I was able to rip National Treasure, using DVD X COPY EXPRESS. But every time I try to Rip ARE WE THERE YET WITH AnyDVD & DVD Decrypter, I CANNOT, I GET TO 3_2 VOB and it says that the CCS Cracking failed, could not process, and could not read and just fails. I have tried repeated processes and the same fate. Cannot seem to get it to rip.

Have you watched ARE WE THERE YET, you could have a bad disc. Could you get your hands on another copy or try it in another drive? Decrypter had no problems with either of these discs when I ripped them.

I/O errors are usually your drive telling you it doesn't like the disc for some reason. There is no need currently to run AnyDVD along with Decrypter. The author of Decrypter always said not to use both at the same time. Like I said there is no need currently because Decrypter can do every dvd up to date

and vts.1.0 with DDVD and Shrink and burn with DDVD.
No problems

No I'm not saying get another drive. This is the only disc you could not rip, it could be a poorly pressed disc. Did you watch the whole movie in your dvd player? And does it play? Can you get another copy of this movie to try? It may look clean but have you givin it a good cleaning?

I tried that chazbmwUS, i even went to the video store and asked for a different copy, because the previous one, had some scratches on it. This one does the same, i can rip 3_1 VOB, 3_3 VOB, 3_4 VOB and everything else, cannot rip the 3_2 VOB, will go half way and just sit there, and go into error, or will just do nothing. I dunno what else to do.

I had the same trouble with the life aquatic with steve zissou. It gets so far and stops. When i tried with 1click DVD copy it said skipping bad sector. I really think that there is a new bad sector encryption that is hard to detect. I did, however, get it to start ripping correctly one day and then Microsoft Auto Update (in its infinate wisdom), restarted my computer to update. I don't know the problem.
Remember... If the world didn't suck we'd all fall off.

I too had a problem using DVD Shrink to rip 1 VOB file (the stupid thing did not want to rip). If I remember correctly I ended up using CladDVD to rip the disk to my had drive and them copying the file into the video_ts folder. Might be worth a try, even tho' CladDVD cannot break ArccoS. BTW does anyone know Mr Clad? I sent him an email last week and have yet to get a response. He is probably lying low after what happened to LightningUK!.

What version of Decryptor are you using. I had similar problems with a couple of other DVD's (titles excape my mind at the moment). Got the latest Decryptor and "presto", decrypted thru those I/O Error VOB's like butter !
