To be honest here, I think you were in the wrong there, Timmy. Bashing a guy for paying for what you get for free, isn't very nice is it? Fair enough he found bittorrent slow, which it is, if you aren't connectable, have capped speeds, or there aren't enough seeds. HTTP speed is usually much faster than BT is, and if he chose to p[ay for temporary membership so he could get it, then so be it. It's entirely upto him, and doesen't require any input from anyone else.
Now please please please, let's drop this now, this has been such a great thread and has helped so many people. So let's leave it here eh?

Hi mike..sorry about that. I don't think he'll be about very long either. Just another 14 going on 4. Couldn't even find a constructive argument back. As I said before.. continue as if I had never been here. It's not the only thread he's been causing in. It's just that this one is too useful to be spoiled by that prat.
Anyway back to softmodding.. YAY!!!!

turns out im not gonna be modding as soon as i expected not gettin a router for a pretty long time they are 10X more expensive than newhere else around here so my savings are boosting and hopefully eventually i will get one those tuts are gr8 on ur site nice job

just a quick one , why would you want a router to softmod your xbox? you just buy the ar kit $30 the exploitable game ( recommend 007 auf) $5-15 and your set :D.....

ya dude thats wat i did and it works good the only thing that bad about the sction replay is it only comes with an 8mb memory card and sometimes you have to put like 1 file on at a time but all in all it works well

you alredy ahve aid 3? extract all ... i think its part 1 or .0 or try viewing the folders until you find one thats has the iso then you extract the one with that has a file thats an iso image file
it has to be there just search it , its not aid 3.0 for noting... lol oh and make sure its not the update pack but the acutall aid 3.0 the update pack its just to have up to date apps likedvd2xbox n crap... read the pdf or aid website ....

well which downloaded file are you using???? let me see a screen shot of the root menu then the sub zippped files and so on .... seriously it has to be there OR you downloaded the update pack.
THEIRS A DIFFRENSE BETWEENA THE UPDATE pack and the aid3 disc download.
also try to stick with xbox hq all this is the source , this is nearly a tut for modding the xbox

it should be the first aid30 . did you try viewing each file 1 by 1? the file type should be called iso image file. if you only found the iso updater then you donwloaded the update pack not the acuall aid 3. remember hq can help you better ,
it cant run linux? did you TRANSFER BOTH FILES???/ 2 files the game save exploit and the LINUX????? and they should be .rar what did you transfer?

HAHAHA MUHAHAHA i found it i made a dvd of it i got dvdtoxbox or what evea i had clean out all my game saves and all my apps and elumators (cant spell)cept dvdtoxbox to fit halo2 ima upgrade my HD soon anyone know a good one thats not to xpensive i could grab?

well maxtor is best known for locking the hd. you NEED a LOCKABLE hd , theirs always promos on staples/best buy office max FRYS ELETRONICS... look around... you can get a 200gb hd maxtor for$50 ... i'v seen them everwhere. now you need the type of connection to be ide like not SATA!!!... to upgrade the hd you need your pc.
MAKE A thread on xbox hq they will teach you from step 1 to last the easy way.. everytin you need is over there.

hmp007: not only it be very hard to get dvd2xbox from me to you , but installing it is hard too .... just get the d@$% aid 3 .... the full download. its free but you have to find it good. or just pay the $5 or 40 lifetime and download the fast http download...
after you have it you double click on the file burn it pop it in xbox choose dvd2xbox and click " install" and the rest is done auto .... fast easy its a must have for all modded xbox oweners.. aid 3
ADDED: didnt you read the last post i made ???? to a cdr/dvdr depending on what dvd drive you have.... no its not ftp able.!
