Problems are handled according to the forum that best covers your particular problem. You need to be in the gaming forum. Your game appears to be timing out while looking for a file and that's nothing to do with cyclic redundancy errors experienced with Shrink. You could use Search and see if you can find the file in your program. Just a thought, have you tried reinstalling your program ?

Ok guys the reason you cant copy certain DVD's anymore is because the media companies have invented a "watermark" on the read side of your DVD's!
DVD shrink speeds up the spin of the disc to copy it, this watermark foul language removed by loco up the laser and causes I/O errors, and ather stupid errors.
Takes a DVD DR tot he disc and sand it off, or take the disc to a Family home video staore that has DVD/CD scratch removal equipment, run it till that dam watermark is gone, and boom you can copy it all you want.
I am experimenting with running slower spining of the disc I will let you know how that works out. I also recomend experimenting with a DVD or CD from the library no need to trash one of you own. I will write back tomarrow and let you how the slowing down works out.

Make sure this is legitimate corruption before you go destroying your DVDs! It would suck if you ruin DVDs (yours or the library's) and it turns out that it was just a bad press :P

Well, a "watermark" type "protection" is possible on commercial movies. I've done it several times on DVDR, but sanding the watermark would have only destroyed the data on the disc rather than bypassing the corruption. Commercial implementation of this would be no different because if it were, the DVDs produced with it would not be guaranteed to be playable on 100% of DVD players.

Watermarks? Sounds bogus to me. If my system can read to play, it can read to record. What are some titles for these watermarked DVDs? I play a lot of DVDs and haven't seen one yet.

DVDFab worked fine on all my problems disks. Really Good piece of software.
My friend says that these are deliberately left on some disks to prevent backing up.
I mean WTF, if I own it and my kids scratch it I lose it. I should be able to back it up.

I am having problems with Law Abiding Citizen also. I have used Any Dvd & Clone Dvd, on my pc it does play but "freezes" until it buffers up to 100%. On my wife's pc it will not play it at all & the disc does not as if anything is on it. Any ideas?
