Try Gnie's ExPERT auto rebuild guide on page 18 to see if you'll get any better result this time.
Good luck!!

The PSS Down Sampler shown in the how-to guides in this thread is the only one out there. If copying the activeskin.ocx file into your windows/system32 folder failed, try just copying it into your /windows folder. If you are using Windows 98SE, ME, or lesser, put it in the /windows/system folder.
In most cases, after doing so, you can immediately use the software with no errors. However, in few cases, a reboot is required.

Thanks alkohol! I have the Gnie's ExPERT program with the plugins.But when I unzip the file I have the program and the plugin file.My problem is I can't add the plugins to the program for some reason.Therefore I can't use the Gnie's ExPERT.Because the plugins are not in the program.That sucks! What DVD-R Media should I use? Have you got a God Of War burned? Aslo have you played it past Pandora's Bridge? If anyone has can you tell me what Media to use and Method.Thanks Bra.....

@marrero66
Honestly, I don't know about 2.49GB (this looks kinda small) and how is that gonna effect your backup down the road (it may or may not). I haven't try Gnie's ExPERT for GT4, but I rebuilt mine using Sonix's tools, but I found that when downsampling the files, it needs to be 55% instead of 50% for the US version to work properly.
Hey, if it works for you, then enjoy your backup to the fullest. Good luck!!

@ Auron I'm not really mad at you. I'm ticked off with the way things at AD have been going lately. A lot of people arguing for the sake of argument, repititive questions that've been answered over and over again, people refusing to search. Certain people have gotten banned and come right back under new aliases and are still up to the same BS. I can see why Senior Members and AD addicts are dropping like flies. The BS is getting harder to bear. Glad you got your problem sorted. Sorry for blasting you at random. Cheers!

No you definitely cannot burn Xenosaga to a DVD+R DL, Swap Magic doesn't support DVD-9 backups. Alkohol's rebuild guide does work for Xenosaga, it's a little tricky so you may get some coasters at first. It's definitely good to have a modchip that supports DVD-9 backups for this one, not that I'd lord that over you. Did I mention I have a modchip that supports DVD-9 backups hehe. Cheers!

@2IIPack,
If you follow the guide in this thread for Gran Turismo 4, it will work. I followed it, and it worked like a charm.
You asked "if the game is more than 4.7 gigs, how do you play it?" If you read the guide, you will see there is part to where you have to "down sample" the PSS files (sound files). The down sampling process is enough to shrink the size of each individual sound file, which helps reduce the total image size when it is rebuilt. Then, with the over all rebuilding that is done, the total image file is reduced in size even more, thus, making the image size small enough to fit on a 4.7 gig blank dvd.
I always recommend that when you see a guide posted, read the guide first before attempting it. This gives you an idea of what you will be doing. Also, guides tell you what software is needed. Use it as a check list to ensure you have the software tools handy. Then, once you have all of the programs installed, print the guide out. This provides you a hard-copy to have at your side. Finally, follow the guide as written, making no adjustments of your own kind, and you should not end up with a coaster at all.
With the Gran Turismo 4 guide, I suggest disabling any anti-virus software you have running. Also, disable any automatic e-mail checker that you may have running. Give your machine's resources priority to to complete the posted guide. The down sampling of the PSS files takes a good while. Well, it did on my machine. Once you get done, before doing the final burn, reboot your machine first.

Alright there, bud.... I'll be laughing when the PS3 comes out, as long as the SwapMagic works on there. No modchip probs for me, I'll be playing my backups while you umm....mess around with your **OLD** PS2. So there! ;) :)~

Thanks. Yeah I'll use that one. I apreciate it a lot. Let you know how it goes when I get Gran Turismo. I had a while ago but then I sold it to EBGames because it broke or something So I don't have it anymore but i wish I did. So when i get me a copy of Gran Turismo and try this I'll see if it works for me like it did for all of yall.

Is there a place ps2 iso can be downloaded? That would be much better than renting games and burning them.

Let's tone down the piracy references. Your games are backups.
There's plenty of places to download games, check the PS2 FAQ link in my sig.

I heard that game ain't even worth messing with. I would stop messing with this game and just leave it alone. Throw the game and the failed burned copy in the trash. 50 Cent man it's all about that 2pac and Dipset Juelz Santana.
