I recently used ANYDVD on my home computer and it started having spyware problems then it stopped working. It keeps looking for the boot file. I then transferred my dvd burner to another computer thinking it was just a virus from something else. I downloaded the trial version of ANYDVD again to copy a DVD and the same thing happened when I used it with dvd decrypter. Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions about what happened or how to fix it. All I know to do is to reformat my hard drives and never use anydvd again.
I have not herd of or had this problem. AnyDVD trial version is the same as the retail version minus the serial number. Just expires in 21 days. I just bought AnyDVD myself and did not have any problems, After using the trial and then buying the serial from Slysoft. I would look at something else. Mabe scan your Reg. or find some other program causing the problem. Oh and only download it directly from SlySoft. There was some viruses going around after opening greeting cards a while back that would cause what hapened to you. AVG Antivirus is GREAT and free.
Oh i am VERY happy with AnyDVD.

Yes, just changed my motherboard to an ASUS P4S800D-X. Everything else is the same, but now my cpmputer hangs on the desktop image after rebooting. AnyDVD is unable to open the C:\Program Files\Slysoft\AnyDVD.exe file. When I uninstall it in safe mode, everything works just fine again.
I have used this program for about 2 years, no problem. Now it dosn't work. No clue. I really like this program!
Win2K pro, SPK2...same as before. Same two DVD-ROMS, same insides, all the same install disks except for the motherboard.
Anyone else out there haveing problems? Please help.
I have used both the trial and the retail of AnyDVD with no problems. I don't think that it is AnyDVD that is causing the problem, although it may be reflected when using it. There is something else going on.
When my MB failed and I had to have it replaced they had to mirror the HD and do a format in order to get it to work. Then I had to reactivate XP and MS Office. PIA.
You can try running AnyDVD in safe mode and see if this makes any difference. Just open AnyDVD and go into the programs settings and check the Safe Mode box. This is used if there is conflicts between the program and other programs/drivers. It cannot be used if you are running 98/ME. Also, if you are running Intervideo products these are known to cause problems with the program.
