I bought and really love Anydvd. It is installed on my desktop computer.
I have since got a laptop. Can I install Anydvd and the license key on my laptop also?? Are you "allowed" to use the program on different puters in the same house?
Thanks for your replies,
Ed

Legally "No" I believe when you Buy a license it is only for instalation on One PC...The "User Agreement" that you have to agree to when installing the program should tell you this....
In reality You shouldn"t have any problem installing it on a second PC ,I don"t think anyone will hunt you down and Kill You or anything So I guess it is really all up to you....

I asked SlySoft that question before I bought AnyDVD/CloneDVD. They emailed me back and said, "Yes you can put it on two computers that you own."

Well if you know the answer to your question then why did you ask it??
Generally speaking when you Buy a program you are only paying for a lisence to use the Software on 1 PC because if you could Install it on as Manyu PC"s as you want then you could Just Give your serial Number to anyone or Install it on 100 PC"s that you own and that is not very condusive to Running a Good Software Business....

Peterl....thanks for your answer.
Minion..what do you mean, "answered my own question"?. I asked a question, and got an answer. Also, other software does allow you to install on both a desktop and laptop after buying a key.

Yes, you can definitely place AnyDVD on Two computers. Simply copy and Paste the Key in the file AnyDVD file folder. I have it on three computers (Two Desktops, 1 laptop) and I confirm with AnyDVD prior to it and there was no problems.

@Minion, I agree completely and know that people do misuse this priviledge. I never give a code, license to anyone and feel comfortable knowing that I obey the law. I also know that that is not the case for many and there should be an integrity issue that they must deal with. Have a good one my friend.

every software has different license keys. Thinkfree Office will let you install on a million computers with one key. some companies legally authorize such use, and some don't. it's all in your E.U.L.A.
